This brilliant idea of giving Liam an award every year just for being himself, is that not exactly what the Brits are doing with Adele and One Direction? The new Annie Lennox and Take That as far as the "Brits for nowt" stakes go

I do like Blossoms, but let's face it: Liam's face never recovered after the BHN/SOTSOG years. I'd argue it was 2007/08 when his past finally seemed to catch up with him. He looked a lot older on the DOYS tour than he ever did previously. I'd literally kill to look as good as he did in 2005. Lick his face though? No thanks.

Company man is the reason- EMI when they were a separate corporation had alot of clout with the Brits like all majors, and I still remember Robbie and one of the EMI executives in front of the press and TV cameras reporting on his £80,000,000 deal back in 2002 complete with the "I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams" quote- The Guardian Oct 2002

Robbie got Best British Single for a completely identical cover of a song first released less than two years before his version was. His awards are bought and paid for. He is an absolute fraud.

Just directly copied it and got an award for it.

Carl Wallinger wrote that for his 'World Party' project which Robbie Williams songwriter Guy Chambers had also been involved in at various points- In fairness he did get an Ivor Novello Award for it and I doubt he was complaining about the publishing royalties from Robbie's or any of the other cover versions that have been released. The Brits are corporatism meets populism, so it's hardly surprising RW gets the nod so often tbh.

Most pop acts have a brief commercial peak then disappear but he's managed to eke it out for two decades and survived some terrible (in commercial terms) album/singles too. Fair play to him, top blag.

I agree 100%, my original post was just a really shit joke about his voice.

At HMH last year. They tried very hard, but it was just a dull performance.Oh wow, I hope none of them read that, its infinitely more depressing than any insult. 'It's'
