There was a thread for boxing but can't find it. Anyway, was watching the Danny Green-Anthony Mundine fight and wondered is the final score (98-90) calculated over three rounds?

98 - 90 means that one judge had it 8 rounds to 2. (usually if there are no knockdowns in the round you score the round by giving the better fighter 10 points and his opponent 9 points, if there is a knockdown and the fighter can continue you score the round 10 points to 8 points, the same happens if the one fighter is just completely dominating the other one) Hope this helps.
BTW: the other 2 judges scores were 94-94, 96-94

I despise Mundine as much as the next person and the pub I watched the fight at all wanted Green to win yet when the fight was over everyone was deflated as it seemed clear Mundine had won.... All the major gambling site shad Green at +1300 when the fight was in the last round and Mundine was paying $1.04....
Not in to conspiracies but was a bit strange.
