Flyying Colours have a new album out later this year.
The new single is pretty good... straightforward poppy shoegaze

I’ve been listening to a lot of new (for me) shoegaze this summer, starting with the excellent Flyying Colours, already mentioned in this thread, and which I very much look forward to their new album.
I’d like to share my favourites:
- DEAD HORSE ONE: I’ve been listening to this non-stop, they have 3 great albums. First one was produced by Mark Gardener from Ride.
- THE VELDT: I really like their only album Afrodisiac, from 1994, never heard of them then:
Also, I discovered The Boo Radleys as a shoegaze band... Where did that come from?? I only remember holding a copy of Wake Up Boo! basck in the 90's and it didn't grab my attention at all. But the rest of their albums, the first ones in particular... I really enjoyed that, very unexpected.

An essential shoegaze anthem from a long-forgotten band that you've probably never heard of. There's a comment on Youtube that sums it up perfectly: "Two chords poetry". Reviving this thread with this gem

I listened to Souvlaki Slowdive just a few weeks ago. Never knew there was a shoegaze thread here.

I am a longtime shoegaze fan, and IMHO this gem of a song is one of the finest of the genre - long forgotten Detroit band Majesty Crush and No. 1 Fan

Just came to say how brilliant Rachel Goswel is. She's a diva.

Going to publish any stupid ambient projects I do in this thread. Went on a Nick McCabe binge last few days and got inspired. This is just multitrack sampling that I do from various artists, then I draw a canvas from there.

The new Flyying Colours album is really good. Agree, I've been listening to it quite a lot. Maybe lacks hightlights like Wavy Gravy or Long Holiday, but no a bad track. A few of them remind me of Veronica Falls which I love (not really shoegaze though).

There's a couple of recent shoegaze albums that I'm enjoying quite a lot:
Hotline TNT - Cartwheel, in particular this song (terrible video though)
Drop Nineteens - Hard Light
