The 2004 release had new digital mixes by Chris Potter for All In The Mind, She's A Superstar, Gravity Grave, Slide Away and Blue. The other songs were remastered.

No chance, there's no bigger ego in rock than Ashcroft. Even if he wanted to, not sure the others with their talents and humility would want to put up with him again. Never has such a fantastic band been so hamstrung by one mans egotistical idiocy. His voice is unsalvageable WTF! From his last concert:

His voice is unsalvageable WTF! From his last concert: '92-'03 Richard is one of my favorite vocalists ever. He can't sound like this again. If you love the deeper gravel of his voice now, more power to you. Not for me however.

Not for me however. I love both but now it sounds more powerful and more unique. Just my opinion, of course. The problem was not that you do not like how his voice sounds now, but that you refered to it as "unsalvageable". You can say that to refer to someone's voice that is completely destroyed, that cannot sing anymore, cannot reach high tones, and sounds like shit. Which is not the case with Ashcroft, IMHO.

Ah, makes sense.
Whatever McCabe adds makes such a different doesn’t it? Richard really needs that.
