So remember how my local theater said it wasn't confirmed despite being on the website? Well, today they are off the list. Seems more than a few theaters are gone. Luckily there's one 40 minutes away, but I must say I'm surprised what cities are missing: Los Angeles first and foremost, but also Phoenix, Portland and others. Are you talking about the Alamo Drafthouse in SF? Yes, taken off list, but I just got tix for Berkeley!

I was surprised to see they've only sold a few tickets.

FYI San Francisco is now showing the documentary at the Alamo Drafthouse. I know a few of us, myself included, called the theater initially only to be told they didn't know what we were talking about, but it's been confirmed now and you can buy tickets. Just select the calendar date of October 26 and it'll come up for 7pm with reserved seating. So far only 6 seats sold. So come on out, the more Oasis fans there the better!
I requested a refund for my tickets for a theater 30 minutes away. Better to see it where I live.

Who knows, maybe I'll see the 7 in SF and then hit the 9:30 in Palo Alto!

Still nothing in New Jersey and only the one theater in Philly Seriously? Wow. We got it all the way up here in Albany and nothing in NJ? That's nuts. One time living here has a perk over living in NJ.

Bought a ticket for palo alto. None of my friends like Oasis so I'll have to go solo. All the positive buzz has me hyped!

On the website there's now a thing that lets you submit your email and zip code to demand it.

Not much time left and still no shows in New Jersey and only one in Philly No way I can make it to that one on time on a weeknight. Guess I'm going to have to wait for my Blu-ray to arrive.

I was curious to see how the movie was selling based on the cinemas that show seat availability. While doing that, I discovered the official website is still steering people wrong in many cases (pointing to dead links, wrong cities etc) - it's basically a mess.
I didn't go through all cities, but here is an overview of the ones I could determine:
HOLLYWOOD - Two showings, over 400 seats each. Only the front row is left, so over 90% sold.
PALO ALTO - Two showings in a 100 seat theater. Early is 70% sold, Late is 27% sold
PASADENA - Two showings in 240 seat theater. Early is 50% sold, late is about 35% sold
SAN FRANCISCO (Alamo) - 320 seats, 1 showing, SOLD OUT
SAN FRANCISCO (Embarcadero) 136 seats, 2 showing - early is 46% sold, late is 10% sold
CHICAGO - has actually added showings the next night on 10/27
BOSTON (CAMBRIDGE) has added another early showing so it must be selling well (3 showings)
BROOKLYN - is sold out (1 showing)
NEW YORK (Sunshine) - two showings, both sold out
NEW YORK (86th Street) - 1 showing, sold out

Two days away and nothing for New Jersey. Guess I wasn't meant to see it on the big screen On the plus side I'll at least be getting the HMV exclusive Blu-ray since someone will be picking it up for me. HMV doesn't ship to the US so this was the only way to get it (unless I went to eBay and paid probably twice what it costs)

I was wondering how these sales would be, but so far so good it seems.
