Ugh, by the way... I hope this never made it into a song. References a La's song, so I will bet it does make a song at some point Yeah, but the Be Here Now reference would just be embarrising student lyricism. He surely means Chasing Yesterday and the Beatles single.

I hope for at least another 5-8 by his colaborative partners in addition to his 10-11 penned songs.

I just really hope he gets someone else to write the lyrics. Flick of the Finger benefited from this.

I like DGSS and I actually prefer it to NGHFB. Me too. 'Wigwam' and 'In The Bubble' are better than anything on NGHFB. muuhaaarrr, best pisstake in while. congrats, great post!

I can see him giving some co-writes but not singing their songs on his album. Well, just a notion... I believe he said something about " he's not going solo and that there are only ten songs he wrote". So it could be a compromise to call the record a colaboration rather than a solo record. Maybe a Liam Gallagher and friends, or Liam and Pete Yorn record ( whoever his collaborators are) would be safer for him. If it's Yorn, Liam surely must have heard about the Scarlett Johanson album. But the picture at Warner Bros speaks against it and it sounds quite reasonable.

He tweeted "It's official I'm a c*nt" meaning "I'm going solo".
