Highest Bid Anonymous - £9,970,973
WTF!
edit. They changed it to £40,000, that sounds more realistic.

Just returned to WNWN for the first time in weeks.
2 bad songs: Alright Now, and Meadow - I hate that two bad tracks are back to back and in the middle of the album. But the rest is pure gold.
Bonus are tracks - all 3 of the them - should be on the album.
For the track listing transgressions and 2 bad songs, I’m content with my initial 8/10 rating for the album proper.
*Bonus tracks raises score to 9/10, very strong collection of songs.

Wow we often think alike, I also gave it 8/10 (reviewed it 4/5 on Allmusic) and still stand by it. Similarly, I found Meadow the weakest track. To me it came across as a weak composition that is only saved by its production. The Acoustic Sessions version confirmed this. I thought both Invisible Sun and Misunderstood should both have been on the standard edition, the latter being my favourite track on the album. Admittedly i do like Alright Now, although i dont find it a highlight. I think its about Lennon's Lost Weekend which was a cool idea, and i like the solo. The other 'bad' song to me (on the full edition) was Glimmer. I guess on the standard edition, the other song i went off the most is Shockwave. Several songs (Be Still, Halo, One Of Us) have actually grown on me.

Alright Now is one of my favourite Liam solo songs, absolutely love it. Meadow is by far the weakest on the album.

Glimmer sounds very America. American Oldies. I wonder if that’s the reason it’s not translating? I personally really like.... I also really love that the lyrics reference Regents Park - it’s a prominent park in London, and brings back my childhood memories. It’s a wee fun song kinda like Digsy’s Dinner, and She’s Electric.

Random question.
I’ve never heard the bonus tracks on As You Were or Why Me Why Not (reason: I prefer standard versions of albums),
I have just thought of making like a mini album with the 6 tracks similar to The Masterplan.
What’s a good track listing for them?

Here to show some support for Meadow - I'm still loving it! Glad that you can enjoy it. Its just never connected with me as a piece of songwriting - it came off as experimental production for the sake of being experimental. The stripped Acoustic Sessions version confirmed my feelings. But thats just how it is. After all, the one I related with the most was Misunderstood, which has rarely been called a standout by anyone else.

I'm happy that I have seen Liam live twice, but it would be my dream to see him play in UK. This looks amazing.

I'm happy that I have seen Liam live twice, but it would be my dream to see him play in UK. This looks amazing. It was a great atmosphere at that gig! Brilliant weather, great support acts (DMA's & Twisted Wheel were the highlights for me), and this was all prior to England's inevitable elimination from the 2018 World Cup. If the queues for the bars hadn't been so long it would have been the perfect concert. Plus I feel very privileged to have heard Liam sing Dyer Wanna Be A Spaceman in full for the first time.
