Who can say? The Who and the Stones are in their 70s and still fill stadiums full of people (of all ages) thrilled to hear the oldies. Is it satisfying to them? Maybe not the way it once was, but then again, what a life. Still, other stuff will happen in Liam's world than the obvious. Just today he tweeted about being open to working with Dave Grohl (not suggesting that one will happen, but collaborations will likely come his way and where they might lead no one knows...) In the meanwhile, enjoy your Noel underwear. The stones and the who are doing it for the money, they are not enjoying it one bit. Jagger and Richard barely talk to each other and half of the who are dead They became a real parody and i certainly hope Liam wont follow that path, although it looks like it. Liam is enjoying being onstage for now, and if that faded away, i hope he stops. Or do something different. I think Roger and Pete actually like it now. They've grown to like each others company after Entwistle died.

Liam is enjoying being onstage for now, and if that faded away, i hope he stops. Or do something different. I think Roger and Pete actually like it now. They've grown to like each others company after Entwistle died. Exactly this. Have seen The Who many times...have even seen The Who with Liam opening. And yes, even Pete, who will complain and complain about the harshness of touring life like the cranky curmudgeon he is, clearly gets into a zone onstage. And Roger (not unlike Liam) has always gotten off mainly on the audience connection, which he still has in spades, though his voice isn't entirely what it was (but he has handled the changes to it so beautifully.) It's not what The Who were in the 70s obviously, but sadly nobody is these days, which increases the appeal. And while to some degree their act thrives mainly on nostalgia, they've found ways of renewing the sound enough that, even through the deaths, it at least feels alive (and to this day, they're still better live than most bands I've seen, and I've seen a lot.) There's never a sense of it being a chore. So yeah, they tour when they need money. But if I could make a nice fortune making loads of people happy that way, I surely would.

They have, somehow, succeeded at keeping it interesting this whole time. And even if Iβm less of a fan of the stuff from 2012-present since Roger took over the musical side of things, Pete still shows up and plays a blinder every night.

Wasn't expecting a bathroom story, haha. Not much new insight but her enthusiasm is fun and it was cool to hear some Liam in LA tales.

Gone has been stuck in my head all day but I love that song and it's one of my favourite solo songs by Liam.

Yesterday I made the unfortunate mistake to read the threads about the Liam threatening sara via anais and him apparently grabbing Debbie by the neck. Wow, just wow
And before someone tries to grab my throat. Noel comes across terrible in the Sara stuff, too. The reactions in the threads though, wow

I'm listening to Liam's BBC in concert gig from 2017. Great gig and good to hear Rockin' Chair.

I Get By is a fucking tune! I've only started properly appreciating this one. I feel like the production on You Better Run, Greedy Soul and I Get By is so similar that I almost just dismissed I Get By as the weaker of the three and not unique enough. I feel like You Better Run massively benefits from production where as Greedy Soul lost so much of its raw heavy edge from the live version. I Get By really stood out for me in the bonus footage from the AYW stuff of him recording so i went back to it and really like it. Got that real in your face fuck you attitude that only Liam knows how to bring out.

One in a million can nail the yin without losing the yang.

I Get By is a top tune and I've always liked it. It's probably one of my favourites on As You Were actually.

Wow, just wow And before someone tries to grab my throat. Noel comes across terrible in the Sara stuff, too. The reactions in the threads though, wow Questioning tabloid media stories by people with a clearly expressed agenda? Not that surprising really. Spot on this. Easy to go back to them threads and create a narrative that we were all just defending abuse. It was a story that the Scum purposely staggered to release the video the day after the accusation. So we were as much in the dark as anyone and just had Dan Wooton (a man obsessed with trying to bury Liam) coming out with this with no proof. In the end what come out wasnt good but if i thought for one minute Liam was abusing her or violent towards women then I wouldn't be defending him at all. What the video emphasised to me more than anything though is how bullshit this narrative of what Liam and Debbie are. It's been pushed to us as a good PR story but the manor in which they got together and a few glaring warning signs since show me this isnt going to end well.

I read on Stop Crying Your Heart Out that three years ago today Liam played his XFM roof top gig. Three years already crazy.

Couple of the younger lads at work have Leeds tickets. Iβm too old now to be slumming in a tent but it did dawn on me how much the country needs a dose of Liam right now and how much of a βmomentβ it may turn out to be.
I hope he dusts down his orange parka for it.
