I reported a couple more instances of this over the last week, using proboards' advert report tool. The ads just cut in suddenly, whilst browsing "recently updated threads" on mobile.
Unfortunately the form Proboards provided didn't show the URL I was redirected to. So instead I copied the advert's address whilst it was still onscreen, and sent them that along with a note explaining context to this.
Haven't heard anything back yet, but hopefully this will help towards resolving the issue.

Anyone else got that "Can we talk?" banner popping up? It's been appearing repeatedly since this afternoon when I browse this forum on my mobile phone, I haven't seen it appearing while surfing on other websites, & I have an adblocker so it shouldn't be displayed at all. That raised hand scares me a bit I must say, I never clicked on it as the paranoid in me thinks it looks very much like a clickbait to a malware. Have you experienced the same disruption in your browsing on the L4E forum, or elsewhere?

Yeah, started seeing it last night. That is actually the logo of a blocker called AdBlock. And it's just a nag from ProBoards asking you to whitelist them or signup for their premium service, a lot of websites are trying stuff like that now.

I'd thought about it having something to do with Adguard (the adblocker I use), but didn't dare click on it in case it was clickbait to a virus.

Not a pop up ads, webm@ster, but since yesterday I get this message every time when I want to go to a next page or back to a previous page, so I have to refresh the page to make it work. JS Error: ReferenceError: adServer is not defined

it's an adblock issue. if you pause your adblock you won't see it, but you'll see all the other annoying ads, so...

webm@ster, I just noticed that I don't have that "JS Error: ReferenceError: adServer is not defined" issue anymore. Anybody noticed that too?

I'll have to see if more members report the same redirect. If not, your computer might have picked up some malware. Would be odd if it only happened on this site though.
tks
