I find it very amusing that someone who's got songs like Once and Now That I've Found You on his record (mentioning songs that I love to state quality's not the point of this) tweets like he's Johnny Rotten moments after he's released Holidays In The Sun and people buy into it

Maybe he got emotional again listening Noel's song... Tbh I find it annoying that people always need to know what Liam thinks about Noel's music.

Nah he was slating it, not saying it couldn't be tongue-in-cheek But yeah it is annoying when people costantly tag him under Noel stuff or ask him about Noel, just looking for an easy answer and a little storm kicking off

So some sad twitter tit can say.....omfg..Liam responded...you made my life complete. Such utter twats on twitter

Well I'm on Twitter but I don't hassle Liam about things like that. What's the point? Anyway, who really cares about what both Noel and Liam think about each other's solo music? I know that I certainly don't. I tend to use Twitter for animal and wildlife news and things and also news about my favourite TV shows such as Line Of Duty etc.

Didn't they use to speak well of Travis around the BHN era?
I think they talked positively about them in that iconic Lamacq BBC radio interview.
Either way if he's slagging it off he doesn't have a leg to stand on. He released For What It's Worth lol.

Infant i think they supported Oasis on that tour or at least on the UK leg of it. But I could be wrong.

I like Travis. If you like mid tempo rock songs with a nice melody they where the band to listen to.
I dont know if Liam meant it as an insult but it's a bit of a rubbish insult if he did as Travis are a good band.

As far as I'm concerned as long as I like Noel (well most of them) and Liam's songs it doesn't matter about what Noel or Liam think themselves.

Yeah they definitely supported them in Cardiff the gig before the GMex ones because I was there. I remember thinking ‘who the fuck are these lot?’ Tried to get into the hotel Oasis we’re staying in afterwards but erm... didn’t manage to get past security.

If Liam was trying to bash Noel here, I think he'd do it in a more obvious way. Seems to be a indirect compliment. He doesn't want to outright congratulate him.

Back then I don't think that Travis were that big if I remember right.

Fast forward 2 years, Driftwood was out and they were headlining festivals.

Surely Liam could come up with something more clever or at least more harsh if he actually had wanted to slag off the song or start some kind of twitter controversy. "It sounds like Travis" seems almost like it was just his honest reaction (I don't know their whole catalog by any means, but from what I've heard it does sound a bit like Travis in the sense mancraider used above: a mid-tempo pop song with a driving melody.)

Love how everyones complaining that people on Twitter take the time to ask him Noels opinion and then you're all taking the time to complain about that and Liam's opinion.
