3rd try, no luck with Pearl Jam in Vienna, as Veddie's voice is gone today. It would have been nice to find out a little earlier, especially before I boarded the train to interrupt my summer holidays, but there you go, even singers are human. The real bummer is that it's now canceled for good. Thank God I saw them the last time!

New Manics reissue coming of Know Your Enemy. Liking the new cover, and the unheard song. It's going to be interesting to hear the project as it was intended in the two albums. But my lord 19 tracks in one and 14 in the other... It's going to be remixed so hopefully it's better than past reissues that only made them louder for the sake of being louder. www.roanrecords.co.uk/product/know-your-enemy/

I read on the BBC entertainment pages that Pulp are to reform for some concerts next year but the final dates haven't been finalised yet. I'm not really a fan but I like a couple of their songs Common People and Disco 2000.

Jamie T's new record was truly worth the wait In a time where I struggle to find any new indie acts interesting he still sounds as fresh as ever

Been listening to suite a bit of Molly Drake lately. As talented as her son. "Happiness is like a bird with twenty wings Try to catch him as he flies"

Everyone should take 4 minutes to listen to this gem by Doves (arguably one of the most underrated bands ever):

Wonderful song. I wish it was longer, though. That part at 0:50 where the piano and synth come in and mix with the 'Hey' voice sample just gives me a sense of joy and being that very few other songs have.

Their last album so far (Tomorrow's Harvest) is a post-apocalyptic masterpiece

Because people are asking, ranking of Lord's studio albums (not including re recording or ep): 1: Set in Stone 2. Fallen Idols (First album to have a song about The Master ever?) 3. A Personal Journey/Ascendence 4. Digital Lies 5. Andy
(Inside joke regarding #5)
