Been wondering for ages (and can't find the answer on google)... what is the ultimate achievement... most prestiges.. international honour to win in both Basketball and Hockey? in basketball is it Olympic gold or the fiba world cup? same for ice hockey winter Olympic gold or world championships? I mean for football it's clearly the FIFA world cup for example...

Greeting from New Orleans!
In basketball, it'd be the Olympics. However, we were the first country to start using professionals instead of collegiate/semi-pro athletes exclusively in basketball, starting with the 1992 "Dream Team" (Jordan, Magic, Bird, Pippen, Ewing, etc, the most elite of all stars in basketball's golden age). So, it's almost a forgone conclusion USA basketball will win the gold. It'd be seen as a huge upset if not. Typing that out, it sounds really arrogant. Probably is. USA! USA!
In hockey, I can't really answer because in a lot of southern states, we don't have hockey, so no one cares.
Kevin Hart? No. No one. There's a lot of money tied up in his business endeavors, as evidenced the other night when he appeared on Jimmy Fallon to announce his new Nike trainers. Which he then mentioned 10 times.

I mean for football it's clearly the FIFA world cup for example... Most Americans don't care about hockey. Sure it has some hardcore passionate fans in various cities across America but overall it's the 4th major sport. It goes like this..... 1) NFL 2) MLB 3) NBA 4) NHL * NFL and MLB are booming businesses. Profits keep soaring each passing year. MLB's digital rights and local cable outlets have pumped so much money into the game and by providing a mass of jobs in 30 markets for people to be employed by since it's played 7 days a week for almost 7 months. After the Dream Team in 1992, most American don't take as much stock in winning the Gold anymore. It's probably more of a news story if USA wins a Gold in hockey because of the famous 1980 team and a long gap between Golds. Soccer is growing in America and a trend is to really value and appreciate the World Cup.

While we're at it... Dearest Americans, is it true, do you really find Kevin Hart funny? The way his movies have been shoved down our throats as of late, not really. He was funny in his brief role in the 40 year old Virgin and other small ones early in his career, but he just isn't the comedic genius Eddie Murphy was in his prime.

From an American point of view it would be the championships they can send their A teams to, which is rarely the case because the professional team championships usually get in the way. So for both Basketball and Ice hockey that would be the Olympics. The world championship teams are usually put together with pros and collegiate players. The North American public really cares about the pro team NBA and NHL finals more though..... It's worth mentioning the Canada Cup & World Cup of Ice hockey where the Canadians, Russians, USA and Scandinavians always put their very best NHL players on the ice....

M&M's are a type of chocolate candy. So I'd call them candy or M&M's.
Hershey Bars are either chocolate or candy bars. (And even though I worked for Cadbury... Hershey > Cadbury. Though I do like both.)
However I'd consider something like a cupcake to be a "sweet" and definitely not candy.
I don't know if that helps.

Speaking as a Canadian the most important international sports moment in our history is the 1972 Series between Canada and the USSR when Canada came from behind to win the series by one goal in the final game...we had a couple of other great tournaments (81, 84, 87) before the wall came down and all the best players from the Soviet block Joined the nhl Currently the Olympics are the biggest event in international hockey...I believe the last two finals are the most watched tv events in Canada's history...the world championship is a mere afterthought that takes place during the nhl playoffs and attracts little attention...the biggest yearly international hockey is undoubteblly the world junior (under 21) that takes place every year just after XMas

However, I dont think most American basketball fans care that much about international basketball. The NBA championship is the highest honor in professional basketball. Most of the best European players play in that league now.
