Is there a place where I can buy the b-sides from Noel's first album in flac in the Netherlands?

mmm am I the only one who thinks Be Careful What You Wish For sounds different (and better) on vinyl?

Let The Lord Shine a Light on Me UNKLE version would fit well on Who Built The Moon.

I've always liked the song too. It's hard to explain, but I think the sound is 'broader' on vinyl, it allows the song to breathe, in a way.

I love this song, but I wish it had a guitar solo of some sort at 2:08, before the final chorus.

I love this song, but I wish it had a guitar solo of some sort at 2:08, before the final chorus. There was a more prominent guitar part (and organ playing) on the demo version but the HFB version was much more polished compared to it so you can't hear it as clearly. Listening to the demo version, all it needed was just a different vocal take, another electric guitar part, and the drums to be mixed like they were on Roll it Over. It's a good song, such a shame it didn't get developed for SOTSOG and was polished to hell for the CY B-side version.

"Nature is dancing and it makes me sweat" is probably the worst thing Noel'd ever written. Comparing to this (Probably) All In The Mind lyrics are like Stephen Hawking to Homer Simpson

French channel edits a DLBIA video to show the same chorus twice to spare Noel's blushes over the crowd not singing. Watch Jeremy adjust his hat both times.

HOW THE HELL DID I FORGET ABOUT THIS PIECE OF GENIUS. Now the future is well behind... The less and less stressed that I've got, the less angry, the less depressed, over this past year, the more I've grown in love for these EP songs. So, so good.

In the Heat of the Moment is an absolute tune.

"It's Never Too Late To Be What U Might Have Been" available for the first time in 1440p (2560x1440)! Interesting to hear his views again on recording in the studio. The man who built the moon was such a massive departure for him, goes completely against his work ethic.

I didn't believe him at first that it went against everything he's ever done (in speaking of "The Man Who Built the Moon"). But it really is far from what he's usually done. So much so, that he mentions in that Track by Track interview with Radio X that it took like 5 or 6 months to write the chorus for the track. Holmes apparently had him write 7 different choruses, and the one he wrote (the 8th chorus) is one he wasn't happy with himself, but was well over it by the time he recorded the vocals. And as the story goes, he showed it off to David Holmes afterward and he loved it. It's worked out very well in the end, as we can all agree I think.

I'm glad Holmes pushed him so much because I think that's a top 3 HFB song

While it was happening, it was ‘cool’ to hate the EP project, I think most of us now agree it wasn’t too bad, actually.
We got some quality tracks from this side project of Noel’s: ADIAIDTGB, Come On Outside, Blue Moon Rising...

My favourite of the Noel tunes are the upbeat and dancey ones. - Holy Mountain - What a Life - In the Heat of the Moment - Black Star Dancing
Obviously his ballads are great, because they always will be. Noel could do an album of ballads and each one will be fucking ace. But this new direction is really beginning to catch my attention.

I still listen to all 3 of them straight through as a playlist sometimes, and it’s not bad. I still think Sail On would make a great festival gig closer.
