Go Let It Out is certainly the best single release from the Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants album. However it's never been in my top ten favourite Oasis songs though.

I can’t get a life if my heart’s not in it.
16 years on, and the double entendre in those lyrics just hit me.... that’s a clever pun in those lyrics. Wow.
I’ve always, and still do, believe Noel is a great and vastly underrated lyricist.
His lyrics are completely relatable to a generation, backed with great melodies. I love you, Noely.

All in the Mind, Keep the Dream Alive, The Good Rebel and Iz Rite are the exact same song.

I will always love Magic Pie. Fuck the haters.
Works well as a live song, as well.

Well, I like them all. Anyway, it was 16 years ago yesterday since Lyla was released as a single. It was never one of my favourites from Don't Believe The Truth or certainly not in my favourite Oasis top 20 songs. Infact it's right down my list. But it's still not a bad song.

Had Noel gone through with the 'Be Here Now Rethink' idea this would've been my proposal for the album cover. I think it makes for a great serene reflection on the end of Britpop-era, edits out all of the nonsense whilst still capturing the spirit of the record.

I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing, but I can't get Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is out of my head while listening to Roadhouse Blues by The Doors. It's too similar.

Used it for an attempt to trim Gettin' Better (Man!!) in a way that could've lead to it being played on the radio: I wouldn't want the actual song to be this length, but it is fun to try and fit the weight of Be Here Now tunes into something that could realistically have been played on the radio back in '97.

Was thinking that too, must feel great to have your songs become part of your team's culture

I wish that Noel had gone with the rethink idea because I'm sure that the songs would have sounded a lot better than what the album does.

Once again, FUCK the acoustic set in the middle of the 1998 BHN gig setlists.

Would have been quite cool if the line was "I'll have got my dues when I'm walking slowly down the hall of fame".

I take a lot of pride knowing that the British public has long since adopted this classic as their National Anthem
Really nice clip, this.

It's funny how many people see Noel as calmer person and Liam as lunatic and what most people seem to forget that Liam is five years younger. God knows what Noel would do if he became rich and famous before 27. He was heavy drug user from when he was 27 years old to 31 and Liam was 31 in 2003, when all madness stopped long time ago. Liam was actually more normal and calmer than Noel when he was 27,28,29,30 and 31 years old.
