I, having lived in Moscow for three years in the early 90s, wonder if Oasis ever made it big in Russia? nah, Oasis popularity in Russia in 90s was limited with only some magazine stories about Gallaghers fights in clubs or bad quotes talking rubbish about some singers |

I used to think DBTT were their worst album. I'm not that sure anymore. ^^ I really like DBTT. Only one or two skips which is good for a MK2 album. The fact that there are only TWO Liam sung Noel songs (one of them being a duet) is a fucking travesty though. |

Mucky Fingers would have sounded great with Liam’s voice. I like Mucky Fingers live when they get the outer drumming right. See COMS 2005. It would have been a massive tune live if Liam sang it. Would have been single worthy too. In an alternative universe, this song is one of the highlights of Oasis latter period. God knows why Noel thought he could rival Liam’s voice. |

Ten years today. Let that sink in. I wasn't what I would call a "fan" when I heard the announcement on the radio but I remember not taking it seriously. Strange to think that by the end of this year Liam and Noel combined will have put out more music than they did in Oasis. |

I just remember thinking at the time that it wasn't serious, it was another of them arguments that would pass by quickly and the next Oasis album would be out in 2/3 years.
I'm still gutted to this day but at least the solo careers keep us going

I was somewhat of a fan back then, but it didn't really affect me. However, I remember a German lesson about a week after, when the teacher said something I didn't really understand, but I heard the word Oasis, so when she asked if anyone could translate the sentence I raised my hand and said "you said that Oasis just broke up". I don't remember what the correct translation was, but that was not it.

I’m going to burst their bubbles - insulting each other through third party proxies like social media shows how both Noel and Liam truly do care about each other.
If they truly despised one another and didn’t want to see one another again, they wouldn’t be communicating the way that they are - in fact, they wouldn’t be communicating at all. Sorry Noel & Liam, your perceived hatred for one another stems from the very core belief that you care about each other and that juxtaposition is exactly what drives the misguided inner hurt of not being friends - but the cycle continues until that exact insight catches up.
