There's a little bit of a Liam Gallagher in all of us. As yer fucking were x. He's not fathered THAT many children, surely? Yeah... he's not Genghis Khan or anything. "An international group of geneticists studying Y-chromosome data have found that nearly 8 percent of the men living in the region of the former Mongol empire carry y-chromosomes that are nearly identical. That translates to 0.5 percent of the male population in the world, or roughly 16 million descendants living today." - National Geographic

First time I’ve listened to this, and the first time I’ve heard BOADC live. Fuck me, that guitar solo at the end is beyond phenomenal - it elevates the track to being a cousin of Gas Panic. It’s beyond huge.

It’s beyond huge. This song was a highlight during the HC tour, it's a real shame they never played it again after 2003. I love the studio version as well but the live version is a killer Word these guitar solos. But how could you'd never heard it live until October 2018: had you never listened to a complete gig from 2002?!

HC as an album is a real turnoff for me, so I never really sought out many live album tracks from that era (bar the singles, of course).

Heathen chemistry is a great title, let down by its horrendous cover. SOTSOG’s cover’s boring af, generic. DBTT has a mysterious cover, interesting. DOYS- too confusing, what’s going on? What isn’t going on? Not for me. WTSMG- boring cover, yet I feel it suits the title, so it’s actually quite good, but still bland. Overall mixed feelings DM- great cover, can’t fault it Be here now- peak cover, best of the lot

Standing on the Shoulders of Giants 5. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? 6. Heathen Chemistry 7. Don't Believe the Truth

From the nineties ones, Wonderwall is my favourite - that was better than the album cover.

That Roll With it cover is fantastic too. Should have been the cover of a Morning Glory single. In fact, every single cover from 1995-1997 is amazing. I think Roll With it, Wonderwall, and Don't Look Back in Anger ones would have more iconic WTSMG ones than the actual one.
All the post-2000 ones are boring, really.

Having come from a nowhere small town/village as well, that's a fair point. Mine didn't look like that though

It's Better People is a nice little acoustic tune. It's no DLBIA but if you're feeling stressed or need a nice pick-me-up, it hits the spot just right. It has some nice sunshine-y, vintage 90s acoustic Oasis vibes to it.

The first truly throwaway song in the Oasis canon.

Was out last night and put Oasis songs on the jukebox in a pub and it's amazing how loud all their 90s tunes are.
It just rings around the pub lol compared to other songs.
Love it. ❤
