Whitey is my least favourite Oasis drummer. Played the same pseudo-funky beat for seven years. Prefer Zak Starkey or even Tony any day.

Actually, Chris is much better but Whitey is considered one of the standard Oasis members that defined an era. Zak is a good drummer, I just don’t like his style - and it was quite cool to have a descendant of a Beatle with the band. |

"THIS ONES FOR THE LADS!" I love Noels full band version of Talk Tonight, solidified it as one of my favorites. Everyone knows how massive To Be Where Theres Life is live, this ones mega. |

When I'd seen that STC had leaked I nearly had a heart attack. I was 17 at the time, 5 months away from my first Oasis gig. I remember it being a glorious sunny day, walking in the sunshine listening to the new demos on repeat. An amazing day. |

Watching the G Mex gig. It's unbelievable to think just how massive things had got by this point. Reading Forever The People by Paolo Hewitt just brings this point home. Absolute mass hysteria for two years. For the G Mex gig they had to smuggle the band in on a separate coach after sending their cars on a dummy run, that's how paranoid they were!
