Every time I hear Liam say "who cares cos he's back" in the Lock the Box interview it makes me want to cry. Ikr. The comment really hits.

There's a popular drinks bar near my place called Oasis. If I ever hear them play Wonderwall (or, more appropriately, Champagne Supernova) while I'm there, I fear I may make noises of joy louder than is acceptable for a public place.

I couldn’t be in a band with either of my siblings for more than 5 mins, so Noel & Liam keeping it going for as long as they did is quite impressive to me tbh.

Hadn't heard Jonesy's Jukebox with Oasis before. Bit weird with talk about necrophilia and redheads, but Noel and Liam rarely did interviews together in later years so it's nice to hear this. Been looking for this for fucking AGES! Does anyone have a copy of the second one? Such a good interview

Happy 24th birthday to one of the greatest debut singles ever😎 Just imagine being a teenager at the time and hearing that on the radio. Must've felt amazing. Unreal to think it's a first single...

Found an album on Apple Music which is oasis instrumentals but in a lullaby format, and the shock of lightening really does sound quite ominous and menacing when played with a xylophone.

Might have to try and track that down- for xylophone though nowt beats the late Patrick Moore doing 'Firestarter'!

I must say I do love the 90's artworks. Brian Cannon did a fantastic job, especially for the DM and WTSMG singles.

It was amazing 😊 the first time I heard it I was like WTH was that!! And I had the radio on constantly for days waiting for them to play it again. I was up in Seattle so it took awhile before oasis were played regularly.

Listening to WTSMG on the bus to work. Haven't listened to it front to back in a long time - it sounds so different to how I remember it! This might actually be my first time listening to the remastered version to be fair.

This might actually be my first time listening to the remastered version to be fair. If you like that, you might wanna check out Be Here Now remastered. Don't Go Away, in particular order, sounds much improved from the original. It's more wide open so you can hear the brass and strings layers better, and it sounds good.

Definitely Maybe is leaving work on a Friday.
What’s the Story is pre-gaming the night ahead.
Be Here Now is a night of utter debauchery.
Standing on the Shoulder of Giants is the next day’s hangover.
Heathen Chemistry is the following week’s feeling of deep shame.
Don’t Believe the Truth is feeling right as rain again.
Before living it up large once more with Dig Out Your Soul.

I'd say that HC is like the day that starts out sunny but gets cloudier and rainier as it goes along, though, and DOYS would have a crash and a dark walk home alone.

Because why the fuck not. This caused me to laugh in a public place which sounded like an elephant seal calling for a mate- just thought I'd share that. Thanks.
