The main problem with HC imo was the lack of energy, they sounded tired, they didn't rock as hard as before, however the ballads are the song which works the best from that period, maybe the tiredness did the songs some favours, Noel lyrics at the time seems more reflective about aging and emptiness.

Why would anyone cover (Probably) All In The Mind is beyond me. There's a whole load of acoustic covers on YT which is baffling- that Indonesian bar band was the only full band version I've seen though. |
