love the intro, the fact that the 3 verses are different, great vox by Liam for that era I bought the album when it was released, probably one of those cases you HAD to be there good times for the band and the fans THE SUN WILL SHINE ON YOU AGAIN The whole ‘entertain your goals’ lyric makes me want to off myself. I’m not having any of it. yeh, the only weak part.. so easy to point out - congrats, ya MADFERRiTSS

You, me and mkoasis Great tune of hope for new future times. Unless ya know, you're hopeless There may only be three of us but ABWR is a great Oasis tune to me. I remember the day before DBTT came out. I had some very difficult things going on. I put on the album the next day in the morning and as the final notes of ABWR ended, I felt better than i had before. It's not every song that can work such magic. When I listen to it to this day, it still makes me feel like I can get through anything.

Would love to know what happened to Noel's 93 & 94 notebooks. Absolutely love to. Unfortunately the first one seems to have been gutted to extract maximum profit ( ) but to my knowledge the other remains intact. Just where are they? Framed on a wall? On a shelf? In some cupboard? I just can't get into the head of these super rich and lucky individuals. Surely they're megafans so why not give back to the Oasis community? You know, the 99.999% of other megafans who are less well off and lucky who would love to see these items. They're already fortunate enough to own the items so why do they need to 'own' the knowledge contained within them too? Do they get off on it? Is that it? Do they monkey walk around their massive houses all day, wearing a patchwork of clothes once owned by Liam and Noel, jerking themselves off in the knowledge that no one else can see the tiny scraps of paper they've just spent five thousand pounds on? Is that it? Perhaps it's a money thing? Will sharing images of it devalue it? Why do they care? They own it. The real deal. Maybe they're not megafans? Maybe they're hoarding it to sell to some other fool with too much money for a tasty profit. Mmm... Now they've got even more money. Now they can buy that sandwich Liam half ate back in 95. Good year that. We deserve a better class of collectors. Some are better than others granted but there's a lot left to be desired with the ones 'within' (for want of a better word) the Oasis community. Always out of grasp, no shared plans, endless excuses. What the fuck's wrong with them?

I just got the book "Oasis: A Year on the Road" by Paul Slattery for a few pounds. It's got some nice pictures from the early Oasis tours which I hadn't seen before. I was skimming through the book last night and I noticed a photo taken in Tokyo in September 1994 in which you can see Noel sitting on a toilet floor, pissed as fuck during a night out. The photo itself isn't particularly noteworthy, what's interesting is the fact that the club where the pic was taken was called Gas Panic... definitely a strong possibility that the song was named after that club

The ending aside, DOYS is an excellent album. One moody fucking record, man. Apocalyptic.

The most Oasis like decision: Have both RM and STC in your arsenal. Releases AGN on DOYS.
Wtf, Noel?

Does anybody know who makes that "eeuurrgghh" sound during the intro of DYKWIM? It's something that I've always noticed but never really payed much attention to and now it's starting to bother me.
