This does not take into account the albums potential and its corresponding b-sides. Nor does it take into account the era and corresponding tours and band chemistry. It instead focuses on the albums themselves. DM, WTSMG, and BHN are the Oasis holy trilogy, so that's why they are separate from this thread.
I'm personally abstaining from now as all of them (bar HC) are too close to call and suffer from similar mistakes. Although DBTT is most certainly the most consistent. Probably between DBTT and DOYS for me, but very close.
[Edit: Voted for DOYS].
I do predict SOTSOG to win this poll, although undeservingly I think. But we'll see.

Don't Believe the Truth. DOYS is better worked but DBTT has better songs.

DBTT.
Smooth-flowing album with some brilliant singles to represent the rest of the bunch that prove the guys are back on form and have better chemistry than ever.
DOYS would've been the album that acted on DBTT's success with ease, if not for Tracks 9 and 10.
SOTSOG suffers from similar problems as DOYS, while HC was a weak period for the band. However, there were good singles then, I'll give it that.

SOTSOG has aged the best - the production (apart from on the rockers) is genuinely good for a change, and Liam's vocals were still shit hot - but the songs are just not there. I'll go for DBTT, but it's by no means a great record. Dig Out Your Soul is weak and and Heathen Chemistry is awful.

Standing on the Shoulder of Giants and Dig Out Your Soul are even. I vote for Dig Out Your Soul because of the better songs

This is really a contest between SOTSOG and DOYS. DOYS is barely better because of the massive grooves found in several songs. I've always been a fan of SOTSOG's production and textures though, and the fact that Noel tried to deviate from the standard Oasis formula, even if the end result wasn't all that different.

SOTSOG mainly for the (then) new production techniques and sound of the band, added to songs I genuinely love. As ever would have preferred a different track list but can't have everything can you? My second choice is probably DBTT for the songs (Sorry Dave your still rubbish- AND I haven't forgiven you for making The Thrills sound even wetter than I thought was possible)

I am going to say Don't Believe The Truth. BUT... Heathen Chemistry gets so much more flak than it deserves. The Hindu Times, Force of Nature, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Songbird, Little by Little, She Is Love, Born on a Different Cloud, all great. 7 great tracks. But noooo, people go on and on about how much MUCH better the b-sides are. And then complain about how the Don't Believe The Truth and Dig Out Your Soul ones weren't all that great.

DOYS for me. SOTSOG has some great songs but SMC, PYMWYMI, I can see a liar, little james etc ruin it

Easily SOTSOG for me. It has its weak moments but so does DOYS and I think SOTSOGs highs are higher (Gas Panic, Go Let It Out, Roll it Over etc)
DBBT bores me a little and apart from TIOBI doesn't have any stand out moments. It decent though
HC is a minion of hell sent here to destroy our love for Oasis. 45mins of torture containing 6 of their worst songs on one disk as well as 4 mediocre ones. SMOKIING ALL MY STASH! Fuck off!

DBTT without a doubt for moi. Followed (not too far from) SOTSOG. Then a good bit further down would be DOYS (at least this first half anyway) And then at the bottom lie-ith HC.

DOYS.
It's my 4th favourite Oasis album, after WTSMG, DM and BHN, so that's obvious. I like everything on it. Yes, even Muffins and TNOR have grown on me, though they're obviously the worst 2 on the album. This is also Sardy's least fucked up production job.
DBTT has the bigger hits, but apart from the singles, Turn Up The Sun and POTQ, I find it quite boring and barely listen to the rest. I hate the Meaning Of Soul. Also, it all sounds too cliched 60s and too make believe old, apart from the tracks they produced themselves. Thanks Sardy.
HC has good singles too, and I like Force Of Nature and Born On A Different Cloud as well. Better Man and All In The Mind are horrific though. I don't like Hung In A Bad Place and A Quick Peep either. So going by the logic that I dislike the most songs of this album, this would automatically be my least favourite album.

SOTSOG by far, if anything just because of Go Let It Out and Gas Panic (FITB and Roll It Over are great tracks too). HC is absolutely terrible, DBTT contains TIOBI but that's about it, DOYS has Falling Down and a lot of mediocrity. Plus SOTSOG was the last album with a vast majority of Noel-penned tracks (Little James can easily be skipped).

Here's my opinion anyway....
SOTSOG = Awesome production and top vocals, but the songs just aren't there (with the exceptions of GP, Go Let It Out, and WDIAGW) Also, not that this hasn't been said millions of times, BUT GODDAMNIT WHY WASN'T LETS ALL MAKE BELIEVE NOT ON THE ALBUM.
HC = The singles were great but overall the production was rubbish and it was more or less nothing more than a bit of a shite album. Although the vocals are a bit wayward in the sense that his voice is either way too high like in The Hindu Times, or hideously produced like in BOADC. Sounds relatively like himself tho throughout most of the albums tracks, albeit a tad more huskier and raspier than what we're used to.
DBTT = More than a few moments of brilliance here with songs like Lyla, Turn Up The Sun, TIOBI, LTBL and Part of the Queue. But other than that, the rest of the albums songs are either average or below par. Liam's vocals also sound... very strange. Some songs he sounds like a constipated John Lennonish type of thing (Love Like a Bomb, A Bell Will Ring) and other times his voice has been pitched up so much that he sounds like a teenager with a still high voice (Let There Be Love, Keep The Dream Alive, Lyla) But the albums opener is a fucking roar of an anthem. "I carry madness, everywhere I go". So I guess that'll bias my opinion on this album in it's favour.
DOYS = First 5 tracks were probably the best flow of tracks they'd penned in well over 10 years. Up there with DM and WTSMG in my opinion. Production is decent and Liam's vocals sound the way they should for once. But from when I'm Outta Time ends, it's a slow descendance (bar Falling Down) and once you've hit The Nature of Reality, it's rock bottom. Although slightly salvaged with the last track, it's something of a 60/40 split in good/bad tunes.
Overall though, I'd probably have to go DOYS just for it's first 5 tracks, and I'd put DBTT second.

I'm going with HC.
I realise its not the popular choice on here, but SOTSOG only has 3 tracks I like, and there isn't anything I really like on DBTT, and DOYS only has the 3 singles which I like.
Oasis Mk1 was in a different league altogether.

I would love to say SOTSOG... but some songs people already mentionned, I never listen (except some demos and live versions).
DOYS for me. don't get the hate for Ain't Got Nothing. it's in your face, it's what they used to do/BE on Definitely Maybe... Liam on top of his game, vocally. Beady Eye should have played it. the solo is mental

SOTSOG. Love the production of the album and how underrated it is.
I really don't get the love for DBTT however over HC. HC's worst tracks are no worse than DBTT's, plus I prefer the singles.
I've always enjoyed DOYS, even with the boring Sardy production but none of these four albums would come close to the quality of the pre 2000 albums.

Beady Eye should have played it. the solo is mental I think for me it was it seemed like a run of very similar songs- The Meaning of Soul, Ain't Got Nothing and I Believe In All, and out of the three it's my least favourite. Also at the time as far as I am concerned Liam had a superior song in Boy With The Blues that was left of the record, and I would have preferred I Believe In All to Ain't Got Nothin' on DOYS.

I legit laughed at this. It would be funny if it weren't so bleeding tragically true! Again, I just don't see this. Hindu Times, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Songbird, Little by Little, Better Man and Hung in a Bad Place are far better than most of the songs on SOTSOG, DOYS and DBTT. And the B sides for this period are far better than anything else post BHN too. DOYS has to be lowest point in Oasis history. With the exception of the 3 singles, the rest of the album is utter garbage, with no decent B sides from this period either.
