Does any one know exactly what pedals Noel was using at this time (i.e Maine Road, Earls Court etc...)? I don't mean guess, I mean actually know ) I can't find any clear pictures but I'm specifically after the ones he used to make the swirling sound in the middle of Swamp Song and at the end of Champagne Supernova For example 2m 08s into this: I think it's a Boss PH-2 and a Boss DD-3 but does anyone know for certain? Ta!!

Cheers man, yeah I know that site but it says Noel was using the Boss PH3 at this time, which isn't true because that pedal wasn't released until 2000 (geeky I know!)
From the there and then DVD I can make out a vox wah wah, 2 boss pedals and something else. cant find any clear shots though.

Cheers fella, I actually already found out it was a Boss PH-2 phaser. I picked on UK form a guy on Gumtree and it sounds spot on. I play in an oasis tribute band and we've started doing swamp song now so wanted the right one haha

I created the drum loop for go let it out and we have a helicopter sound for morning glory. I'm making a loop of the piano intro for be here now too. I also edited fuckin in the bushes down so it matches the intro tape length and structure from the last tour, added the close encounters sample to the top of it too. We walk out to that which is cool!

I had put in the iPod all the samples from the DOYS tour I managed to build :-) All in between songs in the setlist. Obviously the ideal choice would be the Loop Junky Noel uses but it's way too expensive (€ 400 each) and hard to find. And you need at least four of them to do what he does. This version of FITB you are talking about sounds really cool. Would it be too much for you to pass me the mp3? No worries if you can't. Peace from Italy ;-)

The digitech jamman isnpretty cool for sampling stuff and it is easy to handle. Maybe you should consider testing it. Have fun guys!

Only if he was on a tandem with Liam. Fairly sure that's one of theyknowwhatimean 's middle class nightmares he has if he has to visit the South East of England Weirdly enough, I actually saw a tandem not a few days ago. On the very road I live on. Priced out of London, the c*nts 'ave infiltrated our once tranquil northern towns, to force down our throats their poncey ways. Won't be long before they've taken over all our chippy's, forcing us to buy fish with the skin left on and chips not even half cooked, with bugger all salt and vinegar on. Obviously I'm joking, but still, I think it better I round it off there. I'm reminding myself of my nan, when I went round hers a couple of weeks ago. Except she wasn't talking about our slightly less intelligent brothers and sisters from daaarn saaarth, but all the "bloody immigrants flooding through the borders", and the EU and Jewish folk. And she wasn't joking either. I've always known she was a Daily Mail reader, but to actually hear her in full swing, basically reeling off in parrot fashion every Mail headline ever written (to be fair, there're only ever about 6 variations - "Lefty BBC at fault for falling house prices/increasing cancer rates - NOT [insert name of most popular 'Royal' at that time]" and so on...), it was bloody terrifying. And then there was the weird sort of military language she used, like, "we need to take back our country"; "in the war, men in this country fought to protect us all - but you don't get that from these bloody..."; and, "in 10 years, Muslims will have infiltrated all the top jobs..." (no, really, she actually said that). Whenever she stopped for breath, I shot in with a "UKIP are a far-right populist party - their reasons for wanting to leave the EU are entirely self-serving" here, and a "Farage was a city banker; a vote for him is a vote for the privatisation of the NHS" there, but alas, to no avail. Just sheer, unadulterated ignorance. And I know from myself, a few years ago, when I used to be an bigoted ignoramus too, the old "but not every [insert minority group] is..." argument just doesn't work. But it's really quite heartbreaking to see so plainly, someone - a family member not least - who has had the wool pulled over their eyes by shyster money men working for the media.

If only she read the Express. Then she'd be talking about Diana all day long.

If only she read the Express. Then she'd be talking about Diana all day long. Oh she does, don't you worry about that. She's a terrible snob, my nan; absolutely obsessed by material wealth - despite never having had much herself... And she's sort of stuck in some bizarre 1940s dreamland, where "men were still men" and women were there to wear saucy little cocktail dresses and woo them, at charity balls. So social climbers like the late 'Princess of Wales', will always appeal to her greatly. She was quite keen on seeing that Meryl Streep biopic on Thatcher, that came out a few years ago, as well. But that was a step too far for my granddad, who'd been in the Union when he was younger, and he finally put his foot down and told her firmly, "No!"

Below is a photo of Noel's pedals at Knebworth in 1996. I can see the following pedals in order from top to bottom: Vox Wah Boss LS-2 Line Selector Boss DD-3 Digital Delay Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer Pedal

Sorry to bump an old chat gents. I recently acquired Noels Ibanez TubeScreamer pedal. (100% legit source) i was told it was 1996 ish but it wasn't certain. I dont think it was that year judging by pics online.
Does anyone know when he started or stopped using this pedal? It looks like SOTSOG era? 2000
