That size will be absolutely fine if all you want is your music backed up. Great, I've ordered it so I can back the music up just to be safe. Thanks for the help once again. I really need to get my head around the technical side of computers at some point. My brother has been telling me to get an iPad as they are in words "idiot proof" when the time comes but I like the laptop, especially for the storage capacity as the cloud storage goes over my head (no pun intended). Ask about iPads to kalas. You will get your answer lol! No offense to him. I've always heard the stories someone lost their music with no backup on itunes. DIY (Do It Yourself) is always the best guarantee.

cloud storage really worth looking into, like say even if it's a safety net, me being the cheery soul alway am if something bad happens, you get burgled etc you just sign back into an account on new device and all your music (or pictures / documents) are just there to re download. Also you can have ALL your music on your phone as it either just streams or DL the track you want at that specific time so takes up no storage either. Is really good. I'll certainly have a look into the cloud storage as by the looks of it a lot the near future technology will be wireless so if I do want something on my phone for example I'll need the cloud at some point. One Drive looks quite easy to use, but I'm not sure windows 7 users can use it, the Microsoft website only mentions windows 8 here so perhaps after the upgrade I can begin to use it : windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/getting-started-onedrive-tutorialI guess I'm stuck in my ways that I'm used to having something physical for storage, either the laptop, a burnt CD / DVD or usb stick, I find it strange storing a file on something I can't see! Haha dont get me wrong defo use physically storage, having a tangible thing is the way, but as most cloud stuff is now free, and allows you access from say laptop, phone or someones else PC etc it's amazing and always uploading / backing stuff up in the background etc. Yeah sure one drive will be highly integrated into windows 10.

I have an iPad that I've been using for three years. I probably won't replace it with a new model when the time comes. I'm very much over tablets. I don't like the cloud either and keep my stuff on my hard drive/external. Companies are just taking advantage of people wanting everything on hand 24/7.

hows does people like it? I personally like it to a point. While the official release is days away . I found older machines run a little slower now. I also found settings is not located in one spot. Confusing as much as Microsoft where to put it. Settings or control panel? Users won't have much choice on updates either. They really push a Microsoft account. They're linking your machine to your Microsoft account for possible piracy watch with their products. Cortana is a cool gimmick, but she's very far being useful at the moment. I don't think an older people over 40 will like windows 10 as much as windows 7. I prefer this moment have one machine with 10 and another with something else. Elementary OS and those who are into chrome os at the moment CHROMIXIUM is free as well . elementary.iochromixium.org
