I would've thought HFB1 was a good album but I couldn't find myself in love with the tunes, I just wouldn't understand Noel's sound. Chasing Yesterday, surprisingly I probably wouldn't enjoy it, aside from Lock All the Doors because of how close to the BHN/Definitely Maybe-like sound of it is.
Beady Eye? Obviously no if I listened to DGSS. BE on the other hand, maybe but since the album didn't sell so great and the marketing was the best, I probably wouldn't know if it existed.
At the end of the day I'd take any of the Chasing the Sun era Oasis tunes over HFB and Beady Eye anyday.
No, because Noel and Liam are well off millionaires now. When they're young and started oasis; They're working class and apart of youth. Youth driven energy. Now, they're middle aged millionaires without relating to the average person. Both never will hit like Lennon did during his solo albums and his personal life. Paul McCartney did to a point, but pretty much after Wings no song hit a cord to millions of people.
Yes, I did the typical Beatles comparison sue me lol!

Beady Eye maybe, Noel probably no. It's weird, but that's the way it is, i come from the rock n roll school of music. First thing that got me to Oasis was their swagger attitude, great rock n roll sound and Liam's voice. Then only later i discovered the amazing songwriting craft that Noel represents and it kinda opened me more to a lot of other types of music i rather ignored before i discovered Oasis.
I have to say, Oasis for me was a bridge to the british music scene , Beatles etc. Not that i never heard of the Pistols before, i always liked it for some reason, but i was kinda stuck in american Doors, Hendrix etc. 60's mythology for most of my teenage years. Oasis was the band that changed my view on the british music scene a lot. And music in general.
So knowing my taste before i got to Oasis, Beady Eye's Four Letter Word would probably got my attention for the same reasons Supersonic or Shock Of The Lightening did, those were the two songs that caught me first, then i discovered Don't Look Back In Anger and all the rest.
It's hard to say really from Noel's first album I would say no. As for Beady Eye maybe especially if their second album BE was actually their first. But going by DGSS then probably no even though I do enjoy some of the songs on it. If Chasing Yesterday had been Noel's debut album then I would probably like it and the same goes for Who Built The Moon. If we were talking about Liam's solo albums then yes as well like Noel's last two albums.
I'm gonna assume this means if they did the same music they did solo, but were younger. It wouldn't make sense for a bunch of no named middle aged men to just randomly start a band. They'd never be taken seriously. I'm also gonna assume that Liam and Noel aren't brothers for this hypothetical. That kinda cheapens the question.
Beady Eye: Definitely not. They're an awful band.
NGHFB: Definitely. I adore all three albums and the EP's are even better. He's fantastic. Not just by 'post Oasis' standards, but by music in general. I'd probably love it even more if he was new.
Liam(solo): Maybe. Probably not. If Liam was swaggering about claiming to be a rock n roll star and then belting out tunes written by a guy who writes for Harry Styles, I probably wouldn't have taken him seriously. I like his music, don't get me wrong. Knowing me though, I most likely wouldn't've bothered.

World71R: Anyone else get the feeling that one day the band will finally reunite? I know it's not at that point right now, and it really hasn't been since the break-up, but I just get that feeling, know what I mean?

AdidasNG72: Seeing as BHN is my favourite album of all time, yes I agree 100%. BHN is a unique masterpiece in its own right, and something that will never be attempted by another band ever again, as no band will ever be as big as Oasis again.

shirleyroadshow: I gave the band a slot on my roadshow for ITV telethon production in June 1992. My brother worked with Boneheads brother Martin Arthurs and we were producing a 24 hour on/off LIVE event. The band were very much together at that time!
