The chorus is fine (though I wish he was singing "Oh, love" instead of "Soul love," but that may just be silliness on my part). It's the verse lyrics that are awful throughout though, no? He also needed to mess with the melody as it comes across as quite amateur hour as it is, just repeating over and over the same way.
It's a good song, and is almost a dance track, so I'd say it's like Beady Eye's What a Life!.
All it is missing is a bridge or an interlude to really let that fabulous production shine and let the song rise to another level. Otherwise, it's good, and besides a couple questionable lines, it's inoffensive, too.
