Oasis third best album?? (Read 2,210 times)

My third favourite is Be Here Now however my second favourite is SOTSOG so I had to vote for that,

It's very presumptuous to assume everyone's favourite albums are DM and MG.

Morning Glory is my fourth favourite in case anyone's wondering

Be Here Now stands a particularly healthy shout at being 3rd, but there are just too many flaws with the album for me. Disagree on Dig Out Your Soul, it just never grabbed me, but you're dead right on BHN. I voted SOTSOG because at least it was Noel trying to do something different.

Dig Out Your Soul. Tracks 1-5, 7, and 11 make it a great album for me. It's slightly unhinged and dreary and I love it

For me, it's Be Here Now, with Don't Believe the Truth coming in at fourth.

God only knows the reaction that would have occurred if any of the other albums, excluding Be Here Now, had been released as the third album.

That would have started World War III for sure.

It's more of a general consensus about both albums being the best Oasis albums.

With this in mind then, this thread is about what is Oasis third best album after both DM and MG, it's not about your favourite third best Oasis album.

Actually there is a difference between your personal taste and a general consensus, learn to differ this and you will understand this thread.

Fair enough it seems that i slightly misunderstood the thread.

My point still stands though i think Oasis' 2nd best not just my favourite is SOTSOG and 3rd best is BHN therefore I voted for SOTSOG. Strangely though I think general consensus from the media is that DBTT is
3rd best but that's bollocks to me

I admittedly get pissed off that MG gets out on a pedestal when truth be told I really can't stand listening to it, so apologises if it came out in the wrong thread
