Can't be too disappointed, got to admit there is a massive gulf in class between the top two teams and the rest of the League this season. Fair play to the Dons, you are right in saying G&T that this is the best Dons side in your life, and probably mine too (24 years..).

Shows how far McInnes has taken us that we're going to be gutted come the end of the season that we haven't won the league. Head to head against Celtic is literally the only thing that's cost us the league this season. Even if we had a neutral record of 1 win, 1 draw, 1 loss we'd currently be 4 clear at the top.

Just back... I have to say that was a splendid performance but I'm obviously gutted to lose the two goals the way we did. We've nothing to play for in the league but that result could be a very costly one for Rangers, as they've now slipped into third place and need to win at Tynecastle next week. The Rangers fans booing Lee McCulloch every time he touched the ball...

Well I can't wait to get to Tannadice today. 90 minutes watching United go through the motions again whilst listening to the ambulance chasers singing their funny wee songs.

Played quite well 1st half, may as well have stayed in the changing room at half time.

Never a penalty, we all know why it was given though.

Something else just struck me about yesterday's game. We had 6000 fans at our cup semi final. Yesterday we had 250 at Ibrox.
I know that Ibrox is expensive, filled with and heavy-handed, bigoted stewards and wee fannies of supporters but that is a really shocking drop in numbers.

We took 43,000 to the League Cup final last year and could easily have sold more tickets. Roughly 70,000 turned up to the cup parade the week after (which was paraded about 10 minutes walk from Pittodrie) yet our average home attendance is only about 13,000.

Killie are going down! I'm shitting this. I wouldn't be too worried. The result at the weekend reminded me of when Dunfermline beat Motherwell 4-1 in 2007 and still went down fairly comfortably. St Mirren are destined for the drop and I think Motherwell look the most likely for the playoff spot. ...or maybe not.

We got beat 4-1 by bottom of the table St Midden who had won 1 in 8 games prior. Yes Motherwell are 7 behind but they are at home to Ross County who ain't got much to play for and Killie have got Hamilton who were decent vs Motherwell the other night. That would be 4 points if it were to go against us then we have to play Motherwell the following Friday night in Motherwell. This is not looking too good. That Killie team should have been buzzing with motherwell getting beat on Friday but fail to turn up and get their arses handed to them. In a play-off we DO NOT stand a chance against Gers and I doubt beating in form QOTS & Hibs. Its looking bleak..but I hope i'm wrong.

globe How is Robbie Muirhead doing for you's? Before today he was only getting 10 minutes here, 5 minutes there, and he was coming on and playing out wide. Played the full 90 today up front and looked really good in the first half. He faded badly in the second half but so did the rest of the team. FTD

League title 1 of 2 in the bag www.afc.co.uk/news/6044.php#.VUJd0SFVhBcAberdeen have this afternoon won the SPFL Development League. Celtic have just drawn 0-0 with Falkirk at the Falkirk Stadium. It means the young Celts, the Dons closest challengers, are now ten points behind Aberdeen with the Glasgow side having only three games left to play and a potential nine points to win. It is a fantastic achievement for coach Paul Sheerin, in his first season in charge of the Aberdeen U20 side. The young Dons have two games remaining against Dunfermline and Hibernian.

Never been mate, where all the wee neds who can't handle their drink and the over the hill casuals go to try and bring back the 80s. Although the boy must do pretty well for it, sells Budweiser at £60 for a 12 pack apparently and the insurance probably covers the damage... Not condoning it in anyway obviously, we have a large scummy element to our fans when it comes to Dundee away trips that's for sure. Yeah apparently there is a display, haven't heard a lot about it apart from it involves flags as we were told "not to throw the flags on the pitch" when we bought our tickets...
