Thanks for the additional info everybody. Still waiting to hear about tonight's concert apparently. I hope Noel's feeling better. There are some real jerks on the Internet (not here though) who are cursing Noel for cancelling last night's show. Obviously I understand their disappointment. But if they were real fans, they'd know that Noel doesn't lightly cancel shows (well, okay, he did walk away from the band a few times over the years ). You'd think they'd be a little sympathetic if Noel was ill. Food poisoning is awful. My friends have had it before, and I just recently had it a couple months ago. I could barely make it out of bed to throw up, much less try to go up on stage and perform. Here's hoping Noel recovers soon.

Yeah,I get people spent their money and time to travel to the gig,but I hate it when fans are not able to understand that the guys they follow are humans, not robots This is like the second gig Noel has cancelled with the HFB,and despite waling out of Oasis a few times he's been highly professional since he went solo (he was sick at the start of this tour, had glandular fever for a month on the last one etc.),so if he didn't show up yesterday it means he simply couldn't do it People sometimes are able to go to work anyway even if sick, other times they're not,it's not different for musicians,or football players for that matters
They're right on one thing tho, they could have cancelled it earlier yesterday and should be more clear about tonight's show

I agree completely. Yes, the timing could definitely be better. But then, we don't exactly know the timeline of Noel's food poisoning. I'm assuming he was having dinner before the show, and then he may have felt ill a bit later, but tried to get through it thinking it wasn't that bad...until it became really bad. It can take anywhere from 1-4 hours for the full effects to be felt (although with seafood, I'm assuming it happened pretty fast). It would be nice for tonight's concert goers to know sooner though. Like you said, Noel's quite a trooper. He played through colds, his glandular fever...and has anyone forgotten how he managed to play some songs after the attack in 2008?? How he managed that is beyond me. When I get sick, I just take a day off from work and no one's bothered. When Noel gets sick, he has to contend with an angry mob of fans.

I hope Noel recovers soon. He won't be happy either about this and he surely knows he is going to disappoint a lot of fans. I don't like the little word "very" in the context of Noel being sick Get well soon, Noel!
