Some great films there, particularly Close Encounters - in my top 3 films ever.
That last 30 minutes is the greatest ending and most awe inspiring piece of film I've ever seen personally.

Cheers

Yeah, that worked! Ok, so apart from the album's list, which he commented on, how real do you think the tv and movie one is? I mean, I would never picture Noel loving Dumb and Dumber or the Metallica doc...

Some good Tv choices obv everyone loves Breaking Bad and The wire but The Trip is very good S2 is also very funny. He could be a comedy fan as he's got the trip, partridge, fawlty towers and the office as tv choices and Dumb and Dumber is classic comedy

Never really got the love for The Soundtrack of Our Lives, although this is most definitely a tune: Nevermore is my favorite song by them, though the version of The Passover in the video above is amazing too. Sister Surround is also a nice tune. Funfact: Their song "Confrontation Camp" inspired Noel to write Lyla.

I thought Street Fighting Man inspired him to write Lyla.

I became a fan of The Soundtrack of Our Lives when I heard compilation "Rest In Piece 1994-2012". The Passover and Nevermore are mega...Big fan of this three tunes - Dow Jones Syndrome, Bigtime and Confrontation Camp. There are many great songs like What's Your Story?, You Are The Beginning, Firmament Vacation, Lost Prophets In Vain, Galaxy Gramophone, Legend In His Own Mind, Babel On...
and ofcourse three world most popular songs - Instant Repeater ’99, Sister Surround and Second Life Replay.
Shame they disbanded the band.

Don't feel bad that they broke up, Ebbot is gonna release a solo album this year and I think that record gonna sound pretty much as The Soundtrack Of Our Lives last album, to be honest. He has released an EP too, so go listen to that stuff. The two guitarist in the band has made music to some films to. It's on Spotify.

Saw Soundtrack of Our Lives twice. Both times at Bowery Ballroom. They killed it both times.

I thought in an interview recently Noel said he couldn't get into The Wire or US TV shows in general. Yet I see The Wire on that list.

Films Tv series Genuinely surprised to not see Top Gear on the TV Programmes list, considering he mentioned how much he loved it, and watched it all day from an Indianapolis hotel, in a "Tales from the Middle of Nowhere" blog entry. As for the Movies, that's an interesting list. I can see why he likes Wolf of Wall Street, considering they say "fuck" 569 times in it. Perfect movie for Noel.

I'm liking how he's got The Trip on there though. The Trip to Italy especially, was bloody great
