There can be no more debate , no more talk ......peyton manning chokes .....he has proved it year after year , in years past i blamed the defense ,or oppositiion ........now ...well numbers do not lie ...the man has a weak arm , is a bad decision maker in clutch , and simply ...no TOM Brady ......who always performs it seems when needed .even if he don't always win,( he does have 3 ) ......Peyton's numbers are brutal ....there can be no more discussion on his legacy .its tarnished and can't be restored ...too many losses

If that's case A bruce springsteen thread would seem redundant ...as we has a rock and roll thread .......no? ? Bruce plays rock and roll .......manning plays in NFL ....yet threads can be made to be more specific. No? ??

He's been doing this routine his entire career. No doubt he shreds it all regular season to historic levels but come playoff time, he's different. More tame. More human. Its rare his game is elevated in the postseason. His only Super Bowl win came because the Patriots blew that big AFC Championship game lead in 2006 because the Pats would have steamed rolled Rex Grossmans Bears. That should have been Brady's 4th Super Bowl ring. Oh well. Coulda. Woulda. Shoulda.

espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2014/story/_/id/12154238/peyton-manning-denver-broncos-played-torn-right-quad-last-month-seasonDenver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning played Sunday's divisional-round playoff game and the past month of the season with a torn right quadriceps, two sources told ESPN. Manning initially injured his thigh when he rolled out right to throw a 12-yard completion to Emmanuel Sanders late in the first half of Denver's Dec. 14 victory over the San Diego Chargers. After the game, Manning said he injured his leg throwing to Sanders. There was some thought that he got hurt on an 8-yard completion to Sanders with 2:43 to play in the first half, three plays before he left the field and went into the tunnel to the visitors' locker room. But after the completion on the rollout with 5:39 left, Manning can be seen flexing his leg and grimacing as he moves to call the next play. Manning has a torn rectus femoris, one of the four muscles that make up the quadriceps. The affected muscle runs from the pelvis to its attachment just below the knee. The bruising from the injury was so severe, it had spread to the back of his leg, a source with knowledge of the injury told ESPN.

If Namath hadn't won the '69 Super Bowl, he wouldn't be a Hall of Famer. Under 50% pass completions, more interceptions than touchdowns in his career.
As for Manning, it is what it is. He's a great NFL quarterback, but the number of times he's failed in the clutch cannot be explained away.
