Pretty Green is too expensive, especially for here in the states where the shipping is ridiculous just to get it here. I've yet to buy anything from PG. But I'd like to.

When I was bartending in the city , at the seaport ( nyc ). Think it was before you were a regular here , I'd have so many UK patrons who came to shop in nyc for that very reason ,and I built up a clientele by word of mouth , I'd buy the UK papers play only britpop. made them feel right at home ,I made a lot of cash thst way , it was cheaper to fly over and shop ,I loved it ... They were fascinated that 6ft 1 long haired yank had a 3 lion tattoo and knew more about the scene than they did , I had them send people to my bar when they returned home , my boss loved it

He doesn't design anything, and from what I gather he just lets people design the clothes and then takes a look to see if he likes it, tries stuff on sometimes. If he doesn't like it it gets binned, as I just read in an interview. So he doesn't really do a lot but in the end he decided what will be sold.
Don't know about his stake, can't find anything on that but I imagine it's good enough.

Just sad on an oasis forum in an BDI section people try and make him trying to do something as a negative cos they don't understand what a fashion brand is / what those brands charge or whatever justification they say cos it's liam. If he had launched pretty green with shit quality then sure everyone would've moaned even more

It is normal, look at Boss, Diesel, Ralph Lauren etc since when are these brands in any way your normal priced everyday brands? "oh yeah, i'm feeling like going to ralph lauren today to buy myself a bloody polo shirt for 100 euros. and maybe a sweater for 150. then i still have 500 left to browse through fuckin boss." yes, we're all like that. They are premium brands that cater for a specific market, They're generally better made, better designed and better quality that the shit you find at Primark and George. If they aren't your cup of tea then fair enough but Pretty Green is in line with comparable brands.

I don't get the neggies toward Pretty Green. When P Diddy, Jay Z, Gwen Stefani, etc extend their brands into clothing/fragrance, people applaud their entrepreneurship. I actually visited a P Diddy "Sean John" site, and the gear was very expensive. But it was good stuff. Pretty Green is cheap compared to Gucci or Hermes. Try pricing Hermes scarves.
