I don't see he'll play in Glasto because of his unpleasant memories with Oasis. He'll probably play in Fuji Rock in July, I think and no Pinkpop I hope.

Pinkpop suffered with not be be able to sell out these days except this year because of the Stones, but I don't see Noel would play at Lowlands either. I've been to several festivals, but I'm not a festival person. I much prefer to see bands in small venues or at showcase style festivals.

In the past 9 years the only year it wasn't sold out was 2013, so that's not true. I liked Pinkpop but I think that first with the extreme heat and later with the storm they could have taken more care of people. There were 2 free water spots which isn't enough for a 100.000 people and there weren't enough ponchos or places to go during the storm so everyone had to sit on the ground and hold each others hands and then my phone broke. Talk about two extremes.

Festivals are a great place to spend a week with friends, not worrying about a single thing on earth and have a good time, but it's not the best place for listening to music at all. I can't understand people who are coming for one day of any of the festivals to see one particular artist. That's nonsense to me , go see them in club.

He'll do something in Italy for sure. Milan's date sold out in minutes because he decided to play in a small venue, not at the Mediolanum Forum. And there are no dates in Rome, Bologna, Florence etc yet.
Maybe Pistoia Blues (Beady Eye, Robert Plant and Arctic Monkeys played there the last few years) or Lucca Summer Festival (Last year we saw The Eagles).
But the best for him should be Rock in Roma. Metallica, Black Keys, Blur, Neil Young, Arctic Monkeys, Bruce Springsteen, Green Day, Kasabian, Snoop Dogg etc played there. Also, the dates should be perfect for him because the festival starts in june and ends in august.

I'm already looking forward to next summer. Even if I may only go to one festival in Germany it's always great to watch festival live streams. Reminds me of the summer in 2009, when I used every possible opportunity to watch Oasis (2009 was the year I got really into them and I could never see them live).

I reckon he'll do V rather than Reading, just seems like the kind of act V try more for. Can see him subbing T and Glastonbury as well in terms of UK ones, doubt he'll do Isle of Wight now given they've announced most of their big acts. I think he'll do Werchter, Roskilde and Bennicassim as well as the already announced European ones.

Lots of talk about Glasto, but with talk of Foo Fighters headlining it, surely Noel would be a much better bet?
I'm really sorry, but nice guy that Dave Grohl is, Foo Fighters are utterly dreadful. They've not made one decent album and their sound is incredibly tedious.
I think the greatest myth in music today is the idea that Foo Fighters are actually any good.

Have the headliners for Glasto been announced yet? Agree to some extent about Foo Fighters, but listen to 'Everlong'. Beautiful song.

Foo Fighters are the strongest rumour though.
