Heard Don't Look Back In Anger on Norwegian radio station P1 a few days ago when driving to work. Perfect start to the morning.

Was watching The Voice of Germany yesterday and one guy sang "Wonderwall". Pretty nice version! Another time someone sang "Don't look back in anger". Guess "Champagne Supernova" next. It's not as if there were any other Oasis songs. But, everybody sang along, both songs!

Not that they arent great, but some songs dont need that approach, y'know what I mean?

Not that they arent great, but some songs dont need that approach, y'know what I mean? Here they overestimate, but not because of falsettos or long notes. Actually, if you do any of these, there's a high chance of slaughtering the song, soooo *cough cough*

I wish The Voice here had people willing to sing these things :I At least "Wonderwall" yesterday was chosen by the coach, Samu Haber, singer of Finnish soft pop rock (?!) band Sunrise Avenue, who seems to have a slight connection to Oasis and quite laughably stands for the "rock" part of the show. Nice guy, though! He had to learn German for the show and is still struggling. So he posted the video where Liam learns to say "Frühstücksfernsehen" and said sth like "keep going, then you can have my job next year". Well, maybe as a guest coach. One team had Robbie Williams. "So, Liam, what advice can you give?" "Gerrout and fuckin' 'ave it!" "What did he say???"

My college's radio station plays Oasis, Beady Eye, and Noel Gallagher quite often at certain hours. I remember being blown away when I heard "Do the Damage" playing as I walked across campus one day. Just the other day I was in the bathroom and I heard "The Roller" playing.

Lithium are pretty good about playing Oasis. They've play the usual suspects like Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, DLBIA, but also Live Forever, Don't Go Away, DYKWIM?, Morning Glory, too. Even played a few of the demos around the time of the BHN reissue. There also used to be a "Classic College Radio" station on SiriusXM that also played "Acquiesce" and "Cigarettes and Alcohol" and "Go Let it Out" and "Fucking in the Bushes" in addition to LF and DYKWIM and a couple other more well known tunes.

Big fan of XM Satellite.....heard 'Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks' on Underground Garage ch. 21 a while back, actually posted that pic on the forum, too. Not familiar with Classic College Radio, before my time....love The Spectrum, ch. 28, probably my overall favorite channel..... Lots of great music on XM, comes in crystal clear and good variety.... God bless.

Heard The Turning, of all songs, on a college radio station on Tuesday. I was pleasantly surprised and excited since that college is the one I'm attending next year.
