Thsts why I was leaning toward the Samsung it has gotten great reviews on you tube , saying it actslike a tablet but has power of pc.

So how bad can they steer me ? I do t have a lot of options

Not one of your better comebacks ,,, somehow tho i think my Samsung will be fine , can't be worse than this . Rain I need a educated reply , for 500-550 im looking for a detatchable tablet / keyboard ...Apple don't make one ,im not looking to spend over 600 , and the Samsung reviews by independent people on you tube are good , are there other options ? I only want a tablet thatalso has a keyboard and is sorta a duel tablet/ laptop ...... Oh and I know I won't get a Samsung lol from you ,thanks Quite simple, Lenovo comes to you if repairs needed. They will search for recalls on the phone, polite and more likely to honor warranties is all. Working for the school district, HP and Dell actually hang up, weeks later getting back about a repair and try to get out of their warranties. Even for the school district, because they care about getting the cash is all. I understand what you want. Samsung I never dealt with on that end. When I worked in Semi Conductor industry, Samsung had high standards of chemicals in their process. http:// shop.lenovo.comshop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/flex-series/flex-2-15/I personally like even if it's Android shop.lenovo.com/us/en/tablets/lenovo/yoga-tablet-series/yoga-tablet-2-pro/?menu-id=lenovo_yoga_tablet_2_proI'm sure there's way to plug in a keyboard to it if needed. I would ask a sale rep and if you can. Set up a wireless keyboard and mouse. I know Google is working with school districts. I know my google drive account is 10 TB in size. Lame terms, you or anyone else should able use a word processor if needed. Google wants to take school business away from Microsoft. No complaints of yogas this year.

The new Apple Watch seems cool by the looks of the commercial, but, I don't like square watches, so...
God bless.

My 2007 MacBook Pro feels like it is close to death.
What do people recommend? The new MacBook or the new MacBook Air.
I only really use my computer to check email, watch movies, listen to music and banter with you guys.
Thoughts?

Who is going to buy this? No charger port? 1 usb port for everything to be connected to? Stupidest design idea ever. Someone resurrect Steve Jobs.
Also, only a 480p web camera?

If so and if you do want to stick with apple just get last year's MacBook air or pro models, which are still ridiculously overpriced for the hardware Avoid those new Macbooks, like the plague. Awful design choices all around.

Problem is you now NEED to buy an additional USB splitter so you can charge your computer, transfer files, etc. that'll run you another $80 and still requires WIRES running to and from your laptop. The MacBook Air has a better processor too. I like power.

My only problem with the adapter they have out right now is that it has the wire poking out. So I'm going to have that, the DVI cable, and then the cable I stick in my TV. A zoo of cables right there. Not as bad as the Mac Pro, but still pretty bad. That can easily change as soon as someone comes up with a better solution though. I can see one of the big issues they have is with wear and tear of the ports because of the pressure all these things are going to put on it. But you know, you either want a really portable laptop, or you want a desktop class computer. You can't have both with a machine like this, and they didn't design it to be used like that. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro with a broken keyboard. I use it in clamshell mode with a Wacom tablet and Apple keyboard. I really don't mind keeping it around to deal with the heavy stuff. It works fine, except that I can't lug it around because the keyboard is shot. Right now I'm using an iPad Mini with a ClamCase Pro. I like it, I just wish I could get something like that with OS X, which is why I like this new MacBook. I'm going to buy from the refurbished store probably by the end of the year or early next. By that point I can probably snag a free adapter from someone. I had a 2006 MBP, and the bezel warped. That's my only problem with the Air. I also hacked back in the previous system font because Helvetica looks awful on a non-Retina display. The Apple Watch is nice, and there are times where it would be very useful, but I'm putting the idea of getting one away for now. I really think that even though I'd be wearing it, I'd still reach for my iPhone instead anyway.

I still rather replace my hard drives myself. I'm a PC person. You always can take a HP probook and make into hackintosh. If OS is worth 2k that badly, then get i7 processor that's easily can be converted over running Mac OSX. For under 700

Currently my space bar, enter key and back slash don't work. Driving me nuts. Taking it to Apple on Saturday.

The Shift, A, and R keys stopped working. I don't have a problem replacing the keyboard (well, paying for it to be done, heh), but last summer it decided to not power on for a month, so there's probably a logic board issue since that happened and I don't want it to become a machine that just gets money poured into it. Will probably last me another few years as a desktop machine as is.
You have to have the time to deal with a Hackintosh. I do, but I'd rather be doing something else that's more enjoyable, like using the computer. I know someone who has one, he's always complaining about something not working. He told me I shouldn't buy a MacBook either, but you know, I'm not the person begging for files to make their machine boot correctly.
I'd buy a $1,000 PC with good hardware. It's the amount of money I feel that is best invested into a computer whether it's a desktop or laptop. There are things here and there I can save money on, but I feel that my computer isn't one of them. We live in a world where everyone's trying to get you not to buy Apple's stuff, just so you can afford a bunch of other stuff you don't need.

So, why spend 1,000 dollars on machine last about that long. Granted, some last longer, but by then the machine is slow and dated. You can get a machine like Lenovo for 600.

Wouldn't call it minor, but yeah, they did well in fixing it as fast as possible. I already had forgotten about it.
