I think that there is a bigger chance we will get the Mustique demo's as a demo disc in the boxset. Like the Live Demonstration Tape and the promo cassete of Morning Glory. Yeah that's what I meant: "Fingers crossed they do something along the lines of the DM demo tape as a side release..." He's probably not meaning this but as there's basically nothing to justify the £100 boxsets that being exclusive to it makes it 'justifiable' vs it coming out as a £10 side item. I think be more likely to be in the boxset they know is one off the holygrails (but still bet we don't get all of them)

An another record store in The Netherlands listed Be Here Now (RM) too. 4 LP's Release date: October 7th 2016 Price: 29,99 Euro's Item-nr: 3583034 EAN: 5051961085013 I find it's quite cheap for 4 LP's. If it's true, Oasis management did a cheaky job to postponed this remaster until time was "right" for them. Money is the king, eh? Also there will be a CD version. Same release date, Price 14,99 Euro's. I suppose it will be a same kind of remaster and all that as DM and MG and no treasure cake. There will be a CD version (3 CD) as well. Same release date, 24,99 Euro's. EAN: 5051961085006 My question is, why only a couple of Dutch record store listed this remaster? www.1advd.ch/DefaultCD.ASP

I'd say whoever their distributor is for Holland has given them on updated release date for the next quarter etc. Sure either the MG or DM remaster 'announcement' leaked like this just via Amazon (so again one retailer really) As others above said sure we'll get an announcement from oasis in the next week or so

I havnt read all the stuff we got here but if its releasing on supersonic day then couldnt it just be a stop the clocks styled compilation soundtrack album of the documentary?
seems like cash generator that I wouldnt be surprised see happen.
just seems to be me like an odd time to release BHN on the day that something else is happening.....
....on the other hand its win win for Noely G, BHN either sells well on the back of the documentary or the documentary overshadows it and Noel doesnt have to acknowledge it too much.

Be Here Now will be released on 7 October (20 years from when the Be Here Now sessions started (7 October 1996)) and Supersonic will get an DVD/Blu-Ray release on 16 December.

The Holy Grail. have you seen DM and WTSMG lennon mah lad? 90% bull bull with 10% fresh material. with Noel not liking this album I can't see it getting any more special treatment when the first 2 more successful albums didnt get all that much, Ill be VERY surprised if we get all the mustique demos, probably 1 or 2. Im just hoping someone persuaded Noel to finish the remix of the album, would be an interesting listen.

Personally i couldnt give a shit about the Mustique demos. Noel singing Be Here Now songs doesnt particulary interest me.
Im hoping there are some live recordings on there... Not Gmex or Budokan etc... Something we havent got

Something we havent got I dont hold a big interest in Noel demos, I want more demos of Liam singing, its more of a rarity though I must say Noel sounds top on those demos on youtube of my big mouth and stand by me.

I dont know what to think about "chasing the sun", they either decided not to include anything too good on these reissues and just put on some basic extras or theres less in the vaults than we think and this is the best they have to put out (theres already quite a few demos etc out there), guess it comes down to whether demos, alternate takes etc have actually been kept. I suppose you could say they couldve just rereleased the original albums in standard or remastered form and thats it with no extras or B sides included so I guess thats something.

Ive said this so many times of here but these remasters are just cheap as chips way for people to get the album, the bsides, live tracks and a few rarities.. As someone discovering oasis or having a slight interest in them get all that for £15.. Thats an absolute bargain. They aren't gonna waste many rare 'fan service' tracks for £15. Lennon's example of the verve remasters they are £31 and aimed at a different people to what the oasis remasters are. Im more than sure that in time we'll get a £30 remaster of oasis albums another 5 years down the line with better extras

I think he also mentioned some sort of live/BBC sessions stuff.

Nothing on Amazon UK yet. I'm sure it will follow in time. Hoping Liam tweets to confirm, but not likely...

Knowing Management that while the re-release is being promoted, a few months from now we'll instead just have some fuck off used pin/badge from the 1990s with a faded "BLUR" on the front. Two-bit tosspot chancers.* *yeah, yeah, yeah.

Keep that money train rolling. Based on all of this, then, it's nigh on impossible we're getting Mustique. Instead, we'll get some shoddy version of Magic Pie being played on a cold night in Stoke in 1997.
