Ohio St., no matter how it's shaped, had an impressive win last night. --------- Side note: I think Lane Kiffin will end up coaching Michigan. Just a feeling, no information. God bless.

Let It Bleed I think osu may get in over tcu play bama as 4 seed or maybe go to 3 and tcu 5. It took just 1 year to prove you got to have a real playoff or at least 8 seeds. The old bowl system needs to be wiped out , every other sport changes format to serve television , the bowls are the only reason we don't have a playoff and nobody gets screwed , the money will be there and the ratings for TV , abolish bowl games , and none of this happens , but I KNOW that won't happen

Ohio state will jump TCU. No way they want a little School in the playoffs. OSU FSU AL OR. Four power conference schools equals better ratings.

True , Also tcu ,and the big 12 gave them a built in exuse / reason to do just that ....... Had they had a big 12 championship game and tcu won that it would be a lot harder to justify osu jumping them as they would have 1 bad loss like osu and be the big 12 champ , now there is a reason to keep a small school out , face it , nobody will be happy this year or any year until there is a real playoff ,,,,. To do that you have to abolish bowl games get sponsors for playoff games and come up with a formula , say maybe the top 8 conferences in country all play a 10 game season then the 8 conference champs play the final 2 will have played 13 total games so time away from classes won't be a exuse as there already playing that many if you reach title game even 14 might be played now so theoretically you can have a 11 game reg season with last game as conf title game then 8 team playoff , still won't be perfect but much better than this , and no extra games would be played , But I know the bowls are too big to leave , however I think sponsors of playoffs could match bowl money

Called it. They committee didnt have the guts to omit OSU! In what other year does the defending NC go undefeated and finish 3rd? Wonder how the old BCS computers would have picked things. I've only seen Alabama and FSU play this year so I cant really comment on the other teams but OSU lost to VT at home this year and VT is garbage. FSU has to travel across the country to the Rose bowl which gives Oregon a big advantage. Dont see how Alabama can lose to Ohio so love him or hate him Saban should be playing for the NC again.
1- Alabama 2- Oregon 3- FSU 4- Ohio State

Unless you wera a fan of Miami ,,which we all know we have one huge one here , I would say , miami. I will never call them the U. We're the most hated program in history , even more so than notes dame .....they were obnoxious , thugs , thieves , and led by a guy who wore more hairspray than a girl ........ had some great teams. But unless you went there or near there , very hard to like And the only team in America that has the long tradition over a sustained period of to call themselves by U. is. THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY .... and Sternumman im not denying there greatness. But man they had some hood rats

They won 1 National championship in the last 44 years. 1 and that 1 was stolen from the U on a late flag. Miami should have won three in a row but even though they beat FSU that yr, FSU played Oklahoma in the BCS game. Even Bowden said after the loss in the BCS Miami should have been there. they won 34 in a row from 2000-2003 and Since 1980, 34 yrs Miami has the most NC's 5. The 2001 team is the greatest football team ever assembled. 17 first rd picks 38 players drafted overall. Just some of the players on that roster with the amount of Pro Bowls they went to. Shockey x4 Mcghee x2 Portis x2 Gore x5 Wilfork x5 Vilma x5 Andre Johnson x7 Ed Reed x9 Sean Taylor x2 Antrel Rolle x3 Bryant McKinnie x1 Chris Myers x2 Winslow II x 1

I said they were great , but they also had hood rats and a coach who wAsnt liked . seemed like every thug wanted to be part of miami culture in 80 s ...... As for osu. They were in big games throughout the 70 s and and a richer tradition ........ As I said not denying miami was great. And yes maybe best run of footall teams ever. Some sapy Oklahoma and Nebraska teams of early 70 s were best , but I dont know ....,.. I Said they were not liked and had thugs , or wannabe thugs . So spout the stats. I never denied them there great ...two different topics

I never said miami were not great , i said they were ....but "THE U " embraced "thug life " in the 80 s. .... Osu had shlister I know ..anyway more importantly I always wondered about our name I know your not 23 and i think you got on here after 23 years old So ......is stern a homage to david stern the commish of your sport ? And 23 for MJ ? The umman im lost on ...or am I just way off Hey I am editing this ..cause I am watching a tape delay of MIKE & Mike now ...and it just so happens there talking how college football changed and smaller teams now attract attention cause every game is televised . When I was a kid and greenie and golic as well , greeny just said there were only a handful of games on TV on Saturday yelivised nationally and those teams that we're telivised nationally were Alabama notre dame ,penn state , usc , Oklahoma Nebraska Michigan and Ohio state , .....and he's right that and the army navy game were the only teams you would see week after week ...... Miami was not one .why I spoke of winning tradition the big 10 meant something tnen and those teams greeny mentioned were big 10 , pac10 sec ,big 8 and penn state and ND were free agents , why I said osu are The Ohio state university ...not that they were better but they had the tradition , the big game against Michigan ( always decided roses bowlbid ) and they were always on TV. Miami became big much later , they were better But to me if there can be only 1 UNIVERSITY it's the team that started thst tradition of saying THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY ......THE U to me is a rip off of that ....there better but don't steal a nickname .......why I won't ever call Ladinion tomalisson LT. THERE ONLY ONE LT AND HE Played IN JERSEY . But Miami is a better team over the years and I remember Howard schellenberger who created that winning , I just said they had a lot of thugs. And they did

I don't mind Miami. I've gotten to the point where I see sports as pure entertainment and don't get into the politics and drama of it all. Having said that, I hope Johnny Manziel gets leveled on sunday. In the 80's I rooted for Notre Dame in the Notre Dame and Miami rivalry, but I really just did that to oppose my best friend. At this point in my life I'm more interested in good games/match ups. ----------- Wisconsin coaches seem to always end up leaving and then Barry Alvarez coaches the bowl game. Maybe that's the plan all along. God bless.
