Johnny with an acoustic guitar & strings = top stuff! Just brilliant. and I love how Johnny talks about the relationship of bands with their fans. He is what he is and exactly how anyone would expect how he is. I'm not saying this because I'm a huge fan of him and The Smiths, but he's a truly down-to-earth nice guy.

A fabulous performance (with the orchestra!) of my personal favourite solo tune by Johnny. Wow!

Johnny is reissuing the underrated 2003 album 'Boomslang' that he made with his group The Healers. link: johnnymarr.tmstor.es/I've always really liked it, there are a few gems on it. The new unreleased track 'All Out Attack' sounds brilliant too.

The new unreleased track 'All Out Attack' sounds brilliant too. I've pre-ordered it. Loved the album then and still do. He's done a cover of Don't Think Twice, It's Over on KCRW radio back then and it was brilliant.

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere but I could not find it.
I see Morrisey had agreed to to a tour as The Smiths but Johnny ignored it.
Well done Johnny - firstly, for a start - without Andy it would not be The Smiths. Secondly, I’m really shocked Moz agreed to do it - maybe he’s skint?

I stopped to support and listen to his latest releases. Well done, Johnny.

Is there a good bootleg that collects Johnny's versions of The Smiths songs? I used to have a collection I made from various sources but it's long lost. I loved Johnny doing Still Ill and Stop Me... and now I wouldn't even remember which versions they were!

I remember seeing Johnny caming back on stage for encore with a rose holding in his mouth and started to play the intro of Still Ill.

There's something about Johnny's whole personality that really gives me a certain warm feeling. I've been watching a recording of Johnny doing Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others and I enjoy it so immensely.
