Melkweg looks like a great place to see a show! With capacity of 1500, it was the biggest solo gig Johnny has ever done in Amsterdam. He did play in the same venue with Modest Mouse once. He played at Paradiso Noord in 2014 and in May 2018 (capacity 550). Melkweg is the venue where Noel played his first solo gig too. I've seen a lot of bands in this venue - Weller x 3, The Coral, Travis, Modest Mouse, Ashcroft, The Strypes, Manics, Miles Kane, Jake Bugg etc. It's a former milk factory and a legendary venue Paradiso (former church) is just 5 minutes walk away. I'm so happy that you had a great night mimmihopps! I still have Johnny's guitar licks ringing in my ears... Thank you. and I still feel the warmness of Johnny's hug. I've framed the set list. 3 months lasted Comet Tour finished in London last night! Thank you Johnny, Doviak, Iwan, Jack and the crew for their fantastic job. Also thank you to the people that I shared great times at 2 of Johnny's gigs I've been to on this tour (Album launch show in May and last week). All those beautiful moments will never fade away. carlober, durk, joladella and all the other Johnny Fucking Marr fans on this forum, thank you for sharing our memories. I love you, but not as much as I love Johnny.

Wandering Moon, I really really hope you'll be able to see Johnny in the near future! and every Johnny Marr fan should meet him in person once in a life time. He isn't not only the greatest guitarist, but a great human being as well. Absolute one of the nicest people and the nicest musician I ever met, I seriously mean it. durk, great find! It brings me fantastic memory of last week. Salute to Johnny and his band for playing Autonomy for Pete Shelly. Johnny has been teasing all his fans with a few second intro of This Charming Man on this tour, but he did play the entire song on the final night of this tour in London. What a handsome devil, you Johnny Fucking Marr! I love you with all my heart and can't wait to seeing and meeting you again! Comet has landed and left unforgettive lights behind in our hearts.

I'd settle for actually seeing him on stage the next time instead of stolen glimpses of his head. 😂

This charming man never stops. He's doing signing session for his autobiography, translated in French in Paris this evening.

Thank you Johnny, his band, crew and the people that I shared brilliant times! This charming man never stops, guys! I'll build up and save my energy for the Comet Tour II next year!
I've ripped the audio of London show from youtube, so will upload it later if anyone is interested.

Brilliant vocal by Matt Johnson. People who went to see Johnny at 2 of his London shows were in a real treat. One night with this and the other was with This Charming Man with Johnny Marr holding a mircophone in his hand! It sounds like a studio take? Hopefully he'll release this one in different formats next year. Edit: you can download/stream it via iTunes/spotify/Amazon.

That's so cool mimmi! Did you buy it from the Modernist website? How much was the shipping? Yes, I did. The shipping was only 3 Pounds. I was gutted that it was sold out, so I grabbed it straight away when it was available again last week. It's a tiny cool thing. You better hurry not to miss it!

Single is alright. Is like Easy Money without the guitar riff. So is just a single? No album no?
