"I hate pop stars who go on whinin' about the price of fame and this that and the other. Let me just tell you that being famous is great. I love it, man. I think it's the best when you get stopped walking down the street for an autograph, that's the best feeling in the world. Then you get people like Eddie Vedder, you know what I mean? It's like, what's the point? Why is he in a band if he's so pissed off, you know what I mean? Why don't you just work in a car wash you know what I mean? Or like McDonald's or something." - Noel
Dunno if he's met them, but take that for what it's worth.

In Eddie's defense. He puts on a show twice the length of any oasis show every night. 32 song setlists. and his voice is full and never strains and hes consistent. pearl jam is one of the best live bands at the moment. congrats getting tickets. ive seen them 3 times. they sell their bootlegs. SOUNDBOARD too. 10 bucks. with photos and covers. something other bands should try. and they have an open taping policy if you dont wanna pay.

ya pearl jam is cool. Give vedder some slack, it was cool to be brooding and sad and pissed off at theworld in the early 90s. That crap was lame, but at least Cobain took it to the limit.

Can't say I like Pearl Jam musically, but I like how they treat bootlegs.

I saw pearl jam at the Meadowlands in NJ in June... I do like some of there songs....they are way to poltictal and whiney for my taste....but my husband loves them and they are really good to their fans..

Just like Oasis, they're debut album TEN is epic. If you don't have it you should at least take a listen to it.

Also from when Oasis started their first American tour, via Michael Krugman's book: Again, for what it's worth. He might say something entirely different now.

Most random thing I read today. I personally wonder if Noel has met Taylor Swift? Perhaps they could do a duet together. On Stage. With Let It Bleed, dressed in a tutu. At Super Bowl VXXXXIIIXVVVVVIXXXXXXXXXXIVVVVVVXXXXXIV Good fucking tidings. x.
