I can never understand why Robbie did things like this. He doesn't even seem to be doing it as a joke - he seems deadly serious in this video.

Cause he was friends with Noel and Liam at that time and i think he really liked their music...

Why would he be doing it as a joke? Most of his songs around that period sounded like Oasis songs anyway. Not that I like him or anything.

Let's be honest, in 1997, Robbie wanted to be in Oasis. The coolest band on the planet.

I could see Beady’s Here Now being a massive Robbie Williams fan in 1999. Getting caught in that Millennium fever.

Sobered up and saw the light on friendships.

Yeah I think it was Noel rather than Liam who instigated the end of that friendship. I've always thought that Liam didn't have a problem with him until Noel woke up one day and decided he was unhappy with Robbie riding on their coattails. People made a big thing about Noel and Damon Albarn putting aside their differences but I think Noel and Robbie Williams are bigger enemies than that.

He's still doing Oasis covers... and Liam's pose. Yeah that's the one I mentioned earlier. If it was bad doing it in '97, it's just plain weird now.

Ye he seems pretty bitter by it, but its good for Oasis..he keeps promoting their music lol.
I can't understand the comment on Wonderwall being big the last time he played a festival. It still is huge and can't see it changing any time soon tbh

He's still doing Oasis covers... and Liam's pose. Is he auditioning for the role of Alfred the butler in the new Batman v Superman film or something? Terrible, terrible get-up...
