I watched some basketball on the Olympics and thought it was one of the dullest sports I'd ever seen. The archery was more engrossing. Really awful to play as well. Apart from the couple of times they had us in with the girls doing “dance” (fuck you, teachers), the PE lessons in which we played basketball were always my least favourite. Oh God, yeah, dance. Thank fuck they got rid of that, that was embarrassing for all involved. I remember liking volleyball in school. Me and Luc Jacques were a killer doubles-team, showed no mercy.

If it stops the abuse of refs then it is a good idea. I would also like it for cynical fouls that prevent counter attacks.

The legend, the myth, Adel Taarabt has been named MOTM of Benfica's 4-0 win over Braga. Great talent He has been here for quite a while but was, as usual from him in the majority of his career, only partying and did not even have an official game for us. Once Bruno Lage took over the team last January, for some reason, he managed to make him focus and be a footballer for a change again. He entered some matches, as a substitute, late last season and he continued to be focused during the pre-season post that and has seen increasingly more playing time. He does have a lot of talent when focused on the game, it's a joy to watch him pass the ball.

I'm so fucking excited about tonight, we're going to qualify to the Euros this time...
I don't think I'm even able to watch the game sober, too much pressure.

"The majority of Keano’s ire, however, seems to have been reserved for Jon Walters, the former O’Ireland and Stoke striker, who recently broke down on an Irish TV chat show while describing a three-day period in his life last year when he lost his brother and unborn child, before discovering his daughter had been diagnosed with a debilitating curvature of the spine. “He’s crying on the TV about his family situation,” harrumphed Keane, trademark empathy to the fore. “Maybe he should lie low for a while. Have a look at his medals? That wouldn’t take long.”
What a worm.

he was too annoying to watch more than 10 seconds...and his 'mind blowing' fact was the exact opposite. 7% sounds about right.
