That should be a big blow to france but on the other hand it might let a few other players shine it's France, and they don't have Zizou nor Titi. They have a peach group, but I wouldn't bet for them on playoffs

Argentinian football team = Complete and utter morons. They should go and read some history books. Argentina never did 'own' the Falklands. If they truly believe in democracy, then surely the right of self determination proved its effectiveness when 90% voted in favour of retaining their status as UK territory. Sad that the right wing Argentinian government are using this as politcal capital, trying to distract from years of fascist rule from previously which murdered their own people and stole their children. And for those Argentinians playing in the Premier League, you might want to stand by your principles and quit your high paid jobs in the Premier League?

Uruguay won the last FIFA World Cup held in Brazil, shocking the hosts in the 1950 final.
God bless.

I won't get into a politics discussion, but that banner was in no way originated from the National Team or the football association. If you look at the bottom, that's the presidency emblem/symbol, they own all the TV rights for the local matches and will broadcast the WC games and they have a tendency to mix football with politics, like many others do.

No slight against Argentina in general - just against the government. Surprised the government intervene as it's prohibited to carry a political message in football, according to FIFA rules (though they are hardly moral superiors themselves).

What about Ronaldo, is he already better to play against Germany? Just after coming off at 65 mins v Ireland, a couple of shots, moving around nicely, went down easily a few times, direct involvement in 2 of the goals. LAst friendly before the real deal starts!!
