To keep the trend that has developed over the last 7 years, here's the official Arsenal thread. Better late than never, eh? And I'll kick it off with this golden nugget of advice: Spend some fack-ing mon-ey. Spend some fack-ing mon-ey.

Wenger is the Liam Gallagher of the footballing world right now.
Once a true great, but now an absolute global laughing stock.

Welcome back, Flamini.
Arsene still needs to spend some facking money, though. Time is ticking....

Tricky tricky champions league group for the Gunners. Interesting to see how they fare against Dortmund and Napoli

Ozil will prove to be a good buy but I think Arsenal needed Fillaini and the Mancs needed an Ozil.

Good win over Sunderland today.
Top of the league, and 'avin' a laff.

It's just dawned on me - while we were all frustrated that Ozil was our only signing, do you think AW knew all along what he's doing? By that, I mean he's kept our team together, while those around us (bar Utd's aging squad), have had to adapt to several additions to their team and dressing room. Do you think this was the plan all along?
And with West Brom, Norwich, and Crystal Palace on the horizon, you'd hope for a nice 7 point return from that.
Let's keep this going, we could be on to something very special. Finally.

Ozil will prove to be a good buy but I think Arsenal needed Fillaini and the Mancs needed an Ozil. That's a good point, but I feel that Flamini will be bargain of the season, along with Toure (especially judging by his performance against Sunderland today). He was one of the key players when Arsenal last challenged for the title in 07-08, and his performances for Arsenal seem like he's never been away for the last five years. He has definitely sured up the Arsenal defence I think. Glad to see Arsenal and Liverpool top of the league, couldn't care less who comes after them, though I will piss myself laughing if both Manchester Shitty and Manure finish outside the Champions League. I'm a big fan of Wenger so if it would be a timely reminder of how good he is if they challenge, and I think Rodger's is one of the most exciting young managers in the world today. He could do for Liverpool what Klopp has done for Dortmund.

Some very special goals from Arsenal today.
I think Wilshere's will be goal of the season. And Ramsay's individual effort was quite something, as well.
1/5th of the league season completed, and Arsenal remain top of the pile.
Man Utd, though, are FUCKED.

Arsenal for the title? Things are starting to get more serious. We will blip eventually, but to be there or thereabouts come May? I can't fookin wait.
Great victory vs. Liverpool today. Well deserved win.
Top of the league and still 'avin' a laff.

You know, we're about 1/3rd done the season. That's 33%. Arsenal have been top of the league for pretty much the entire time. I doubt that'll continue. And it's dubious that Arsenal can maintain this momentum for the entire season and win the title.
But damn, it feels good to be an Arsenal fan right now.
