Flatly denied it. They asked definitely not? Dodged that part... said it would just depend on how he felt. Also said he wants to make another album but doesn't want to go on tour again.

Noel is at the point in his career where he doesn't have to ALWAYS tour. He could just pop out a really nice album and do a few talk show type gigs or one offs. He's got money. All he needs to do now is enjoy some critical success which he has done nicely in thus far.

God bless.

Why should he tour at all? Why even bother making a record? Why not retire and enjoy his millions?

People should know by now, not to take what Noel says too seriously!

As much as i'd love a re-union, I dont think 5 years apart is enough, their last album wasn't their best and re-uniting just for the sake of it might ruin their legacy.
Liam isn't what he used to be so and people might just see it as wanting to make a quick buck (x 10000000)

They should just reform to make records IMO, sod the touring. Do a Beatles on it and just stop touring all together, focus on just making the music, Noel writing most the tunes and them sharing the vocals. If its the touring that is the problem, just don't do any. Wouldn't bother me.

Making (new) records without touring is stupid.

Making (new) records without touring is stupid. Why's that then? I mean it really held the Beatles back when they stopped touring, didn't it?

It's cool that you're using a band from 50 years ago as the standard. The music industry has changed a lot since then. It costs a lot of money to produce an album and promote it, and you certainly don't make that money back from record sales. Touring is how bands are profitable.

yeah i get the money angle, of course. but im thinking out load as a fan, im not fucking bothered how much money they make, just saying what i would like to see happen.
if they're gonna tour then its probably best they just leave it, because sadly Liams voice is not what it was, he could get away with it on a record, but doing a tour his voice would be exposed.

Hey I'm a optimist when it comes to Liam and Noel put the Oasis brand next to it and I gotta think Liam will shine for a limited tour .. . Anyone disagree that's cool .. I really don't give a rats ass

I really don't give a rats ass I agree. I think Liam could pull off a 50 gig type tour with one off gigs in certain cities or countries. Remember, if they reformed they'd be playing stadiums and arenas. Fit more people in and play less gigs, while having more rest times in between gigs. With rest and Noel's backing vocals (which have always worked well with Liam's vocals), I think Liam could definitely pull it off. They toured all of DBTT, Liam definitely sounds better than DBTT version of himself, so why wouldn't he be able to pull of a reunion tour with a limited amount of gigs?

The bashers can post away , I don't care Liam has had a bad patch ..but I always think everyone got one more run all the greats ... And Oasis will bring that to the forefront more than bdi IMO ..not because its not the uv ess he hoped but to me. His band is Oasis .. And that gotta mean something more

Yea, it would be Definitely Maybe that year. Yeah, well 20 years for both 2014-2015. Seems more logical that these (if true) would be for HFB, seeing as though Noel is still with Ignition. This is probably what actually happened. Good call. Sadly.
