Noel's name shouldn't even be mentioned in a Beady Eye documentary. He has nothing to do with the band. This actually. then why do you always mention Noel in Beady Eye threads here? seems to me...oh well... |

This is how I see it.... Noel is mentioned in the trailer, so spaneli said he shouldn't be mentioned. You then went on to tell spaneli that he was always mentioning Noel in the Beady Eye section. Spaneli made a very valid point. He is one of the most sensible and unbiased people on this forum. I don't see anything wrong in making a valid point about Noel in the BE section. It's because of this BE Section/Noel Section talk that irritates me. This is an Oasis forum. If I want to make a valid point about Beady Eye in the Noel section and vice versa I have full right to do it and that is exactly what spaneli did. So before you start with 'he overracted' you made quite a weird statement stating that it was wrong to mention Noel in a 'Beady Eye' section. Well this is an Oasis forum. |

It's in the way you communicate through your keypad. Maybe you don't mean it and you're actually genuine but that's just the way it appears. You look too deep into music aswell. You tear apart every element of a song until there's nothing left and it's pointless, it's just music.

Watched the trailer before. Don't see the problem with the Noel comment. We all know its true, for many reasons. Does it make The Chief a bad guy? No, a mate of mine met him once and he was very polite and friendly. And he's great with fans at gigs, there was that girl who went to all of them on the last tour that he gave a few shout outs to.
But nonetheless, what that geezer said was true. And so they included it. I wouldn't have said it myself but I hardly think it cheapens it.
I'm sure if we got a similar sort of thing on Noel we'd get equivalent comments.,,and that would be fine too. It's when people decide to get upset by it that things get shitty.

That aside, Beady Eye don't 'need' to do those things, though. I mean, as has been mentioned, all these bits of promo have been within their fanbase.

They've not given out much info about the release date have they? It was meant to be this week but I have seen the guy who filmed the HMV signing that's on the trailer filming at the Ritz too so I'm guessing they're still gathering footage. Should be really good!!

I saw them outside the Ritz too, i think this could be another week or so. They may put a version out now on youtube, keep filming, and then release a longer version on DVD later this year (possibly with a concert attached). |
