Sorry I didn't mean to insult anyone who's into test cricket. But given all of his tastes and interests and the fact that hes a journalist, it doesn't seem that he ever intended on giving the album a chance at all.
Probably an assault on the character of Liam Gallagher. People I speak to who aren't really into Oasis or, in some cases, music at all have bad things to say about Liam, from his time in the tabloids throughout the nineties etc.

On topic, just posted a comment on there ridiculing this absolutely terrible review.
"You are entitled to your opinion, but to suggest that the album has absolutely NO redeeming quality, and then to go on to berate the fans of the band as people who 'don't deserve music' you have lost all credibility whatsoever. A 0/10 is just lazy journalism, but on the internet I guess it's a way of attracting attention. Ridiculously pretentious, criticism that's sweeping and wafer thin at the same time, and so irredeemably ignorant of anything about the band or the songs, I'm not sure this even qualifies as a 'review', more like an unorganized rant of a wannabe, a music elitist, who considers himself to be above the FANS of a band because they like the songs.

When I look at this guy the word 'Millhouse' springs to mind. I wouldn't get worked up too much over his joke of a review, just another hipster sheep who probably hasn't even listened, just obeyed his most popular hipster friends opinion on the band in general and made this to fit in

How sad. It's a shame because drowned in sound is pretty good I think, but this guy is just a self important hipster - pretty much says it all when he thinks Stewart Lee is the epitome of comedy.
I can't believe respected music sites seem to be hiring trolls now - further proof of a dumbed down society. It's just down right pathetic.
