added 29 April 2013 at 19.06
The Beady Eye frontman has ruled the band out of a surprise festival appearance, calling it "a nightmare"....
Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has told Xfm fans can rule out a surprise appearance from the band at this year's Glastonbury - or any other for that matter.
"Never, ever doing that thing ever again," Liam proclaimed to Xfm's Danielle Perry, adding, "because it's a nightmare."
The frontman failed to ellaborate on why but did say he has got one festival in his sights.
"I want to go to India. I know someone who puts a festival on there who says its alright," he admitted. "Just want to go there anyway. Not to do a gig. Just to have a nosey."
"We've told the agent, that's his job. If he can do that he's in," bandmate Andy Bell added.
Beady Eye are preparing to release new album BE on June 10.

Boooring. The band looks bored too. And why do they get filmed from that odd point of view? We can hardly see them. So stupid.

It's good to see Liam so happy and bright. He's back, and I don't think I've seen him any more forward-thinking and high on life as now. Makes me love the feeling of the first gigs kicking off. I get a 1994 Hultsfred interview-vibe.

It's easy to forget just how fucking cool Liam was in 1994.

Liam 1994-1996/7 was the coolest guy on earth. No shitting. He's still pretty cool but less effotlessly so

I don't think Glasto needs more BDI than BDI would need at some point in the future their festival to get more exposure.

Interviewer: Is there a lyrical theme going through this album? Liam: Love, always. Interviewer: What sort of love? Liam: The biggest love....known to man and mankind. I love Liam interviews!!

I get a 1994 Hultsfred interview-vibe. Baffled by this, did we watch the same video? I actually thought by the end of that that's the most indifferent I've ever seen him. Looks like he can't be arsed anymore.

That was the most depressing interview I have ever seen with those guys. Liam seems uninterested, and the other two seem to be talking themselves into it. I hate to say it, as I really enjoy Beady Eye and the different musical aspects that each musician brings to the mix, but this interview came off as a half-assed attempt of trying to convince the masses that a bunch of old guys are still hip.

Liam is completely disinterested. Hardly surprising as it mirrors the lazy new material they've produced. What a fall from grace.

It's just an interview. What do you expect people will say? Agree with you? "Yes it's clearly going downhill from here. The music will be shite, the band will flop, there is nothing good left in these guys, and this interview is obviously confirming all of the depressing shit everything becomes. If you love Beady Eye, go bury yourself alive."

I simply stated that the interview was the most depressing I have seen with those guys. I thought it had an odd "meh" tone to it for the first radio interview in a promotional campaign. I'm looking forward to the album, but the interview did little to increase my level of anticipation.
