Looking at that that tumblr it seems its semi official and they regularly see band members.
I'm sure there will be official announcement soon enough

He needs to be a sessions player or touring member. Beady Eye is a nice freelance paycheck for the next year or so while Kasabian hibernates. |

Ive met the band a few times and Jay is very quiet.
One of times the other 4 were with us for good 30 mins chatting, having pics etc and he just sat in the car the whole time

Think as jay didnt perform with kasabian tonight we can guess he's definitely left and not 'touring with BE as kasabian are on a break'

Perhaps, or he might just become a live member for beady eye full time, you'd think he'd want a better role as he's leaving a festival headlining band that he has recently become a full member of to join a much smaller band as maybe just a live musician.. |

Thanks for that! Well, he really is leaving Kasabian then. I don't know about his playing style or how will he fare on bass, but at least he seems to be in the same page as the rest of the boys, and a cool guy. All the best for him and the band.

I find his decision very odd to be honest. He's leaving Kasabian to play bass in Beady Eye! Either he's on drugs or he's a massive Oasis fan. Anyhow I'm excited to see what he can bring to the music.  |

I reckon Andy could shift to bass, on Jay's part it seems odd because I can't see Beady Eye getting bigger than Kasabian. Wonder what Kasabian will do.. will they try bring back Chris Karloff or whatever happened to him
