It's the final two episodes of The Investigation to night on BBC Two. The BBC always show two episodes of these foreign dramas together. I'm not sure why though.

I've just watched the first part of that new drama on 5Star The Disappearance and I think that it's going to be good. I'm not sure how many parts it's in though as it doesn't say.

So we're getting seven episodes instead of six of Line Of Duty this time. I'm really looking forward to the next series. Does it start on BBC 1 next month? Can't wait! Set in the best city on the planet Was it taken in Dundee? PS: Have you seen Stuart recently? Yes, and not seen Purvey for ages

The fifth episode of the third series of Twin Peaks. Still struggling a bit with the 2017 revamp (this is my first run-through), but I am taken with the Cooper stuff. So far that's the best idea in the new show for me. David Lynch excels in generating surreal imagery that is somehow intensely moving; and the sight of Kyle MacLachlan like that really breaks my heart.
It's funny that the old show, made long before the advent of binge-watching, should be so much more binge-watchable than the new one. But maybe it'll start to sink its hooks in me, and I'll end up watching the last few hours in a mad dash...
huge fan here, still living inside season 3's dream. it's spectacular. I recommend Mark Frost's 2 novels he wrote (one before and one while Lynch was filming). if you THINK you're not satisfied yet with the Return, go back to it (as you probably feel) Twin Peaks at its best is some of my favourite television programming, so I will definitely be going back for rewatches. Not for a while, though. I'll probably give it a year, maybe six months...
Until two months ago I hadn't seen a minute of Twin Peaks, or indeed anything by David Lynch. Then I watched the pilot episode on December 3rd. I was so blown away by it that I made a note in my diary--not my secret diary, just my regular one--saying that I'd watched what must surely be one of the best first episodes of a television show ever. By January 30th I'd finished Part 18 of The Return, the 48th and (to this date) final episode of the show, having also watched Fire Walk with Me. So I went all in. And now it's time for a breather I think. But I have enjoyed starting on the rest of Lynch's filmography. So far I've ticked off Blue Velvet and The Straight Story, and my Eraserhead and Elephant Man blu-rays are coming in the post any day now.
The third season came together pretty well in the end I think. Like a lot of people, I was baffled and frustrated by the finale initially. Part 16 set up Part 17 so brilliantly, and Part 17 resolved things in such a beautiful way that it felt like the season should have ended there, with that perfect penultimate episode/finale double bill. You think 'What on earth could Part 18 be?' And then you watch it: but there are no answers, only more questions. Like where are we? What are Cooper and Diane's motives for being here? Why does Cooper seem different again? How much longer are they gonna keep driving?... All the same, for the next few days I couldn't get Part 18 out of my head. Other people's interpretations, and observations I hadn't realised I'd made kept sending me off on intellectual flights of fancy at one in the morning when I was trying to sleep. Although it had seemed at first like another season finale non-ending meant to set up a future season, I can see now how Part 18 could be a definitive ending to the show. It's a very downbeat ending, if that's what it is, but I kind of respect that. (I would still love another season, though...)

It's The Bay tonight on ITV and I'm really enjoying it. Also, one of my other favourite police dramas returns on ITV in a couple of weeks Unforgten which is really good.

The Bay is getting really good now but there's only two more episodes to go of this series. Anyway, I had an email today saying that my Spiral session 8 dvd has been shipped. So i should get it in the next few days.

I enjoyed The Bay season 1 and Unforgotten season 1. Hopefully the new season will be aired over here soon. Have you watched "Hidden" as well? I've watched season 1 and only 1 episode from season 2.

The second series of The Bay has been really good and I've enjoyed it as much as the first series so far. Unforgotten returns for series 3 here in the UK in two weeks and yes, Hidden is another good detective series which i always watch. It's always on BBC Four when it's shown in England and hopefully we'll get another series of that at some point.

It's the final one of The Serpent on BBC One tonight. I wonder if we'll get a documentary about the real killer next week at all like they do on ITV when they do these fact based dramas.

I enjoyed The Serpent but it was sad though. He's still in prison and I guess that he'll die there and will never be let out. He needs locking up and the key thrown away as far as I'm concerned. That new drama Bloodlines which starts next Sunday looks good and it's produced by the writer of Line Of Duty so I'm looking forward to it.

My Spiral dvd finally arrived today so I'm looking forward to watching it again. Also, I really enjoyed the first two series of Macella until the end of the final episode of series two which got a bit silly for me so I just haven't bothered with this latest season which is the last. Anyway, series four of Unforgotten starts next Monday on ITV which I'm really looking forward to and from what I've read in next week's TV book it looks like it's going to be really good.

Another real life reality programme which I always watch is Night Mare Tenants Slum Landlords on Channel 5 which is back tonight for a new series. I couldn't be a landlord, a council enforcement officer, a high court enforcement officer or work for landlord action.
