Does anyone watch Line of Duty? I've been watching the first series (nearly 10 years old). It's... decent if a little lowkey. The lead actors are great (the Irish superintendent, Martin Compston's character and Vicky McClure), but I'm not finding it thrill a minute. Hopefully the forthcoming series pick up the pace a bit?

Currently watching The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, about a girl who wants to become a comedian in the 50s/60s oh my god, what a show. Highly recommended to anyone who liked funny shows with jokes hidden here and there. Talented writers, talented actors, great filming, what else. I hope it never ends. ![](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BZTFhMDdmODEtN2UwOS00ZjQwLTgxMGYtM2JlMGM3YTUyM2FjXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMTYzMDM0NTU@._V1_UY1200_CR95,0,630,1200_AL_.jpg)

I'm a big fan of it and watched all the seasons. Can't wait for next season. and yes, Martin Compston and especially Vicky McClure are doing fantastic job.

Yes, and I think it's the best police thriller we've ever produced, i have them all on dvd so far too. And, I can't wait for the next series which starts in the new year. All the actors are excellent in it too.

Talking of Martin Compston BBC One are showing Traces which stars him. It was previously shown on the Albi channel. The only thing is I'll have to watch Tuesday's episode on I Player as it clashes with the cheetah π programme which starts on BBC Two. Why do they put things on you want to watch at the same time when other nights there's nothing on. It's so annoying.

Francesco Acquaroli trying to be the Italian Sean Bean. Italian TV - particularly Crime TV - gets a big thumbs up from me. Romanzo Criminale was the first I stumbled across way back. Then later Gomorrah and Suburra. Fucking wonderful telly. Edit: What does that translate as? The thousand days of Mafia rule?

Also, I highly recommend Rocco Schiavone. It's proununced Perron (French Translation)

Interesting how Sasso (possibly his only character I didn't like) in Mafia Undercover brought him to Samurai. Is that CR7 in the Juve pic

2 episodes into The Queens Gambit now, I'm rather enjoying it, another one I thought I'd hate

What i love about Line Of Duty is that it's full of twits and turns and also they have top guest actors in each series. Kelly Mcdonald is guest stars in series 6.

The Serpent on BBC One at 9pm. It's based on a true story about a gems dealer who was a serial killer. It was filmed mostly in Thailand. Charles Sobhraj was his name, he and his partner/wife prayed on backpackers in the 1970s and they lured the victims back to their mansion where he drugged them. Horrible man. It continues on Sunday and is on in eight parts.

Two episodes of Spiral season 8. Such an excellent police/lawyer drama. Such a shame that this is the final series.

Traces on BBC One at 9pm, it started off a bit slow but I think that as it goes on it will get better. I won't see it tomorrow though as I'll be watching The Cheetah Family And Me on BBC Two. I'm looking forward to it π.

I haven't watched anymore of that Traces and I doubt that I will now. Anyway, I used to like Death In Paradise when the first two detectives were in it.But when the third one took over I stopped watching it because it started to go crap then. I don't even know why the programme is still popular to be honest.

Suburra: Blood on Rome S2E4 The Closer
That tent burning scene was NOT an instruction manual, guys. You can hear the panic in Samurai's voice.

Last night I watched another two episodes of the excellent Spiral on BBC Four and then after that on ITV plus one I watched Rush Hour 2. I love those films and they always make me laugh every time I watch them. I wish that one of the TV channels would show the third one again as it never seems to be on these days. Later at 8pm tonight on BBC One it's A Perfect Plannet episode 2 which I will be watching and straight after that it's episode 3 of The Serpent which I've been watching.
